My order was cancel because company will not ship to a FPO FP
address, really unclear as to the reason, but I am sure it is
a fine product, my Turtles will continue to bask on their rock!

I have all three sizes of this dock and like them very much! They are hardy and sturdy enough for turtles under 6″. They last about two years then start having algae growing on them and eventually the foam falls apart. I would recommend these to beginners.

I bought this dock for my turtle. I originally had a difficult time attaching it to my tank as the bottom suction cups would not stick no matter what I tried doing. Eventually I figured out a trick attach the bottom suction cups first to the side of the tank then attach the upper ones. You will have NO problem if you set it up this way.
The dock has a shallow ramp that allows your turtle to climb up on it. The dock is made out of foam and rests on two bars. As the water in your tank evaporates, the dock slides down the bars, if you add more water to the tank, the dock floats upward. Because it does this, the dock always remains at water level.
I am surprised to read that a few people had problems with this dock. I have never had my turtle try to bite the dock. I also have never had a problem with algae growing on it. I remove the dock from the tank each week when I change the water. Usually when I do this I wash the dock off thoroughly with soap and water.
I have noticed my turtle occasionally will dive off the side of the dock to get into the water instead of using the ramp to walk in. She also on occasion attempts to climb on it from the side, eventually she figures it out and uses the ramp!

I have purchased many different sizes of the Turtle Dock for growing turtles. The large dock was a must need and very appreciated by our red eared slider. Great product and great service from Amazon.

I was told that I would never have to replace the dock because they were made that way. Well, I’ve replaced two docks five times each in the last six months. The bottom of the dock, where the name is so proudly displayed starts to disintegrate and leaves the water murky and who knows what it’s doing to the turtles.
I have the largest dock for two medium sized RES and it completely sinks under them. I have another one for a large sized RES that he’s never completely out of the water either.
I’m stuck using them for now, but if someone knows any other docks that actually work, then I’m open to suggestions.
