I have a 1.5 inch angelfish and i was looking to get a pleco soon, can the angelfish live with the pleco because i heard that the angel will eat it. I have a 30 gallon freshwater aquarium. Thanks

i dont think an angel fish would eat a pleco, well i know my senegal bichir does but he eats fish so idk. (Btw yes i stopped trying to put a pleco in the tank)
They are compatible.
Doubtful that angelfish would eat it or even be able to eat it especially at that size it should be fine though I doubt the angel could fit it in its mouth to eat it.
They should get along, angelfish are omnivores, but they should leave a pleco alone, the pleco should stay out of the way
1.5 is small for an angelfish and a pleco is a bottom feeder plus 30 gallons is big for them so they would be fine a good thing you can do is get another angelfish.
i think an angelfish can live with a pleco…….a pleco won’t fit in an angelfish’s mouth, it’s way too big! goodluck!
