will a tunze 6025 powerhead wavemaker work on a 40 litre aquarium?
I have a 40 litre (about 10 US gallons) marine aquarium. I have seen the above device online and I wondered if it would work on an aquarium of this size or would it just splash all over the floor. I also wonder, would it help my corals grow or would it just be for show?

I assume you mean the Tunze nanostream 6025? These pumps punch out around 2500 litres per hour, giving a theoretical tank turnover in a 40 litre tank of 62.5 times per hour. Remember that you need to adjust the level of water movement to suit the corals you intend to keep, for instance such a high turnover rate would be perfect for many SPS species such as Acropora however LPS and most soft corals will suffer under such a high flow rate, as it will prevent the polyps of many species from extending.
Unless you intend to keep SPS species I would go with something smaller such as a Hydor Koralia nano.
