Will a baby ball python eat goldfish?

As I mentioned in another question, I have a 110 gallon aquarium, leaning towards 2 baby ball pythons.
I was thinking about sectioning off a part of the tank and putting some fish in it and using it as their water source, would they eat the fish though as it seems like it would be a great source of food for them?

goldfish are cold blooded so their sensors cant see them…pythons eat warm food…rodents…they do like the water though…
it could but it wont get all the nutrients from a fish like it would some baby rats or mice (pinkies)
In the wild Pythons are great swimmers and they do eat fish.
it might be persuaded to, but most snakes go after warm creatures. Your best bet would be pinkies.
No they wont eat goldfish. They like Rodents. not a good idea for the fish to be in their water source. The bacteria in the water could harm them. I would suggest an alligator or turtle if u want something that eats fish…
It’s highly unlikely, although I don’t know of anyone who’s actually tested it.
Although some pythons are highly aquatic, Ball Pythons (Python regius) come from West/Central Africa where they inhabit mainly dry grasslands. In the wild, they may never encounter water deeper than a puddle, but I have had some that loved to soak in their water bowls. As I recall, though, even the soakers didn’t like getting their heads wet.
Their primary prey is rodents, particularly gerbils and their kin, which they hunt mostly by heat and scent. I doubt they’d even notice the fish or recognize them as being edible. But, you never know, with animals.
It would be an interesting experiment. If they did eat them, that would be a noteworthy new discovery. If they didn’t, you’d have a really nice vivarium. I don’t see how you could lose by trying it.
