Why is My male Guppy laying on the bottom of the tank?

I recently purchased 4 new guppy, 2 have already died. My 3rd, a male Tequilla sunrise started laying on his side on the bottom of the tank, and i thought he was dead. but after i tapped the tank he started swimming again. I have him iscolated from the other fish now for 2 days, ive changed 50% of the water and also added salt. I havent fead this fish in 2 days suspecting constipation and he has had a orange string “poop like” for 1 day. Im loosing hope that he will make it, because he still lays on his side but this has been going on for more than a week. Does anyone know what this could be?

dying dying
i think one of the fishes gave birth and that sometimes happened to my fish too (i bought them a year ago), (they all died)
have you checked the chemical levels in your tank?
PH, ammonia, nitrate and nitrite
if these are high then that might be why your fish are sick and dying.
also, go ahead and try feeding him. the “poop” string will go away if he swims around for a little bit.
it means it is probably sick or its dieing
Feed him, in small amounts. See if he is just hungry. he may also be sleeping, since fish do not have eyelids, they simply swim very sparsely and sink a bit.
You might have a problem with the swim bladder. Mash up frozen (NOT canned) peas, and feed them to him. See if that helps…
Sorry, but guppies are very un-hardy. You prolly just bought them sick. Try again next time, is all I can say, unfortunatly.
they are no dying because i looked it up on a website and it said that they are not going to die.
