  1. BoBo the HOBO says:

If you got it somewhere when it was in contact with male fish, you could be having fish eggs soon!
But it also depends. How long have you had this fish? If you just got it how long has it been bloated? If you just got it, and it was in contact with males then it could be pregnant. But if you have had it for a while and all of a sudden it’s like that then it could be ill. =[

    Eggs if its a female

  3. Suwa says:

One: Female bettas do not get ‘pregnant’. They legs eggs which are fertilized by the male outside the females body.

Your betta is probably constipated. To cure constipation, cook a pea- you can put it in the microwave if it was frozen or whatever.
Feed the inside (not the outer shell) of the pea to your betta in little pieces. Pea sinks quickly in the water, so try to drop it right in front of him. This will help empty his bowels.

In the future, skip regular feeding once a week and feed a bit of pea instead.
