Where to get a lid for my 30 gallon aquarium?

Okay, so today I get a new aquarium from my aunt that she had laying around that she didn’t want anymore, so she gave it to me.It is a 30 gallon tall aquarium and came with only the tank and a stand. It has no lid with lights or anything. I was wondering where I could go to just get a tank lid for this aquarium and around how much it would be.I couldn’t find any that I was sure would fit that aquarium online and really just want to get one soon so I can have my new aquarium together.I am going to try to get a under gravel filter for the tank but really need a tank lid with lights.Thanks.

I would suggest not going with an undergravel filter. They’re kind of obsolete now, and will cause more problems in the long run. They tend to trap uneaten food and waste under the plates, and to clean it, you have to remove the gravel and the plates. I would recommend going with a hob(hang on the back) power filter or even a canister filter for that size. The hob’s are cheaper though.

For the lid, you can measure it and have someone cut a piece of glass or even plexiglass to fit it, just leave room for the filter and a heater on the back. Or, try looking here, they’ve got everything including lights-be sure to check the sale and clearance items as well:

I’m sure any pet store (i.e. Petsmart or Petco) will have one to fit you tank.
