    between 70 and 80

After filling the tank you really need to let it set for 24 hours with no fish in it, this will allow for it to become room temperature which will not be shocking to the bodily systems of the fish. Ideally, the water should be kept at room temperature.

It really depends on what species of fish you intend to keep?
Without more information on that, I couldn’t say.
Again, different species of tetras prefer different temperatures. You’re looking at the 23-27 celcius range though.

It needs to be steady, with a good quality heater, even in summer. Depending on the fish, as low as 73-74° or as high as 83-84° I’d say 78° covers the widest range of fish.

The general fish temp. should be anywhere from 70 to 80 degrees and on some fish labels it should tell you the temp that the fish need to be in…..if you have more questions you should go to your local PetCo or PetSmart.

Somewhere between 72-80 degrees should be just fine.

Typically between 78 and 80 are good for a general community tank with freshwater fish.

79F is almost always a perfect temperature fore all fish.

It really does depends on the fish, though.

Go to http://www.liveaquaria.com and type in the fish’s name, it will give you the temperature they like.
