What kind of fish tank will flow with my room?

So I was going to get a few of those wall hanging bowls, but I read fish can’t live in there. Plus there $30 each and they only hold 2.8 liters of water! I still want to get some fish, maybe betas or gold fish something small like that, but I don’t want a big bulky fish tank that looks ugly in my room. Any suggestions for a nicer looking tank. It can’t be too big though, I don’t have that much table space in my room.

they have betta bowls you can put up on your wall, three of them in an uneven row (to relive stress on the fish) would look nice, or go for a corner tank, they are shaped like a piece of pizza and sit in the corner of the room so all that is there is a curved piece of glass, they look real nice and a good size is around 30 gallon, little more money with those since you need a stand though, if this is too much just get a 10 gallon set up, they cost 60$ and with live plants and neon tetras are great!
The best thing you can do for your fish is have at the very least a 2 gallon tank. And the only fish that can survive in a 2 gallon tank is a betta fish. The more standard size is a 5 gallon where a better can live quite happily with a couple of tetras.
Goldfish will grow up to 10 inches long after several years. The minimum gallon for one single goldfish is 20 gallons. They are not small fish and cannot survive in bowls.
All tropical fish need heaters and temperatures of around 75-80F to stay healthy and survive.

The aqueon minibows would be a nice choice.
You can buy one of those 5 gallon tanks for a Betta, but if you dont want a huge tank then dont get a goldfish they grow huge. About 2 feet
PS: Betta’s need heaters.
The 5 gallon tanks only cost like $15
Stick with a beta because they don’t grow more than three inches. Goldfish can become quite big. Also beta’s don’t live as long as a goldfish can. My sister had a goldfish which lived to be eight!
There are some really beautiful acrylic aquariums that would look great in your bedroom but they can be costly. Find out which pet shops carry acrylic ones and check them out or search “acrylic aquariums” so that you can see how nice they are. I once had a three gallon which I recommend even for a betta. The rule of thumb is that a fishbowl or tank should hold a gallon of water per inch of fish. So if a betta gets to be three inches long (and they do) it needs a three gallon tank along with a fake plant. My betta likes to rest on the fake plant and I also have a little cave that it likes to go into.
I recommend an aquarium with a filter. It’s the best set up for a fish even if they say that bettas and goldfish don’t need them. I say that if a person is going to own fish they owe it to the fish to do the best they can for their pet. If you don’t get an aquarium with a filter get the largest fishbowl you can. Fish need to exercise their little gills.
here are some “stylish” but small tanks that would be good for bettafish

and all of these would be great homes for a bettafish. you can decorate the tank to fit into your room. like if your theme is pink add pink gravel or plants
OK, good move on avoiding the hang on the wall deathtrap.
Don’t get goldfish, they dont stay small, you are just buying baby ones, they grow into a freaking huge great carp, and need a big tank. Need not be ugly, but it needs to be big, probably bigger than you have space for, and cost more than you want to spend.
Go and look for a simple aqaurium, can be one of those little square plastic ones, that holds about 5gal of water. Get a heater and small filter if they aren’t included. You can pick a hood colour and background to suit your decor if you want, the fish dont care about the colour.
Now you have a good home for a betta, and it should only take up 12″ x 12″ of desk space.
