What is the cheapest chiller?

I need a chiller to cool water to the exact degrees. However all the chillers i see are really expensive, i don’t plan on going really low, just to about 65 degrees. This is for a goldfish aquarium. This is not for the benefit of the goldfish, I’m only doing this as an experiment so information about preferred goldfish enviorment in unneeded. If anyone knows of another way to chill water that is controllable and will stay at a single temperature for a long period of time, it would be much appreciated. I can spend, just nothing over 100 dollars.

i have never heard of inexpensive chillers. But a way to get you tank down a few degrees is get a bagee fill it with ice and put it in your filter. You can buy a thermometer to keep track of the temp.
Only thing i can think of is frozen bottles of water but that is not going to keep it at the exact temp you want and also you will have to monitor it very regularly. sorry hope this helps
The cheapest chillers are the ones on Craigslist. If you don’t mind it used, you can get a really really good one for under $100 (sometimes they have new too). That’s where I found mine. I think this is the best way to go for you since you’re just experimenting. : )
