What is the best in sump protein skimmer with a small foot print?

I have had a marine aquaruim with a sump for a little over a year. the skimmer i have is very tempermental and rarely skims. when i had my old aquarium with aa hang on skimmer i had a red sea skimmer that really worked well. my refuguem does not have a big space , less than 6 inches wide. any suggestions ? thanks
Marineland has one with an internal pump, the Marineland Marine Series Advanced Protein Skimmer.

A buddy of mine has one, it works great. It’s the only internal skimmer I’ve seen with such a tiny footprint. And I’ve never been a fan HOB skimmers.

Frank M, neither of your recommendations look like they will work… too big a footprint!
Any other ideas?
If you’ve read any other of my posts, you’d see I’m not a big Marineland fan in general. But they do have “the world’s smallest footprint” for their skimmers.
So you learned your lesson about cheap skimmers. The one recommended also is not very good.
If you thought the red sea worked well, then you will really be amazed by an actual decent skimmer .
One of the things to consider with a skimmer is the neck size.
compare the neck size from the one mentioned above to the ones I recommend. The larger the neck width the more air that is needed and the more skimmate that can be pulled out. A narrow neck means not a lot of air and not a lot of skimmate.
