What can I put in a tall cylinder shaped vase?

It’s an arrangement of three like vases, all different heights. The shortest has sand with tall flower twigs, making it the tallest.

The medium sized vase has beige aquarium gravel and a sage candle with space left open at the top.

What can I add to the third vase? Ideas?

a single lily would be nice or check out this link.

I saw these beautiful live orchids displayed in tall clear vases and thought how gorgeous they were. These were at least 2 feet tall. You could use artificial ones (with plastic stems) as well, with water and couple drops of bleach to keep the water clear and clean. Any other tall flowers would look good as well. Try lining 3 up on a dining table, or make them for great wedding centerpieces (WOW) , baby showers, gifts. Just remember to keep it simple. The beauty of the design lies in its simplicity.
