Water cloudy due to gravel… will this harm my goldfish?

I didn’t rinse my gravel properly because I was too silly to realize that I should… and now all of the water is in the 30 gallon tank, and it would be extremely stressful on the fish and a lot of work to do a full water change and then rinse the gravel well. It’s not new gravel – it’s always been in my tank, and I haven’t had any problems until now. I think my… uhm… rigorous gravel vacuuming probably scraped off some of the paint (it’s colored gravel). I’m sure the cloudiness is due to gravel, because it was cloudy before I even put the fish in.
Long question short, will the slightly cloudy water be harmful to my fish? Ammonia and pH levels are fine; I don’t have the equipment to test anything else.
Thanks for any advice!

No, it will settle or the filter will sift it out. Give it a day or 2 or 3.

    Best of Luck!

its probably not going to be a problem. However, if there were bacteria in the gravel disturbing it could use up the oxygen in the water and starve the fish of oxygen. You may want to up size the filter until its cleared. Extra aeration will make it harder to settle out too. Ideally you get the tank clean and clear before putting fish in. And I wouldn’t worry about the gold fish. because they are carp . Carp are darn hard to kill lol
unless you feed them to a bigger fish lol

It will harm the fish make sure everything is working the filter is working properly because it will starve the fish of oxygen. I have had that problem to I have had a fish tank since 93 and I have had good luck with gold fish.
