i was wondering if the Regen Aqua-Garden Anemone decorations from walmart are safe for salt water, seeing as clown fish need an anomones and mine is still an infiant anomones. thanks for answering:)

it should be ok
yeah just people generally dont put decor in saltwater tanks (they want to make a fake reef kind of thing)
There should be no prob. Walmart gets the same decor from the same wholesaler as everyone else. But clownfish do not need an anemone unless your putting a bunch of predators in the tank. Anemones are generally to hard for most keepers and it is ruled by experts as not needed
i don’t think you want to do that. why would a clownfish like a fake anemone? the logic doesnt’ make sense to me. anemones grow fast enough. let nature take it’s course. besides, who knows what the product is made of or how it will break down in saltwater.
also, the neat thing about saltwater is that you can ‘decorate’ with real animals. all that crap they sell for freshwater tanks mimic saltwater stuff. why use plastic junk?
