Clownfish are incredibly cute, but I believe you really need to have the anemones set up first to reduce stress levels significantly. Either that or lots and lots of hides, or something along that nature. Their a cute, bumbling little fish, but they frighten easy. I’ve seen that a lot in the local aquaria stores. Haha, they had this little Cow Fish thing too that was cute. A little pouting mouth ad two horns on its head, and when you wiggled your finger at the glass, it rolled over for you. xp

I got a tele on the wall, but would much prefer it to be resest in the wall. Wall hanging fish tank i dont like cause there not much room for them. Id like a couple clown fish, star fish and some coral.

Just a personal thing with me; I dont like hanging things on walls. Aquariums or televisions. Unless their like, set INTO the wall, not off it. But yep, theres a lot of really interesting setups on Youtube, and they give me lots of ideas for the future too. : ) I’d really like a sea horse aquarium myself, but their incredibly expensive, and hardly ever breed, which is sad.

But good luck to you in your future ventures. : )

I think your right. I thought them wall hanging ones would have been more mainstream by now. I been looking at the biocubes and all that on here, some nice coral reefs, clown fish, starfish all in a nice small tanks full set ups

Maybe its because the bottom of the tank is open-plan, and the water evaporates. Thus, if the water evaporates from the bottom, it’ll take the height of the water off the back end. There must be like a pump or something to push water back up it, or suck the air out of the top so the bottom can be refilled. Its an interesting concept, must be hard as fuck to maintain, though.

Yeah i wanted a manufactured one, so hopefully they’d work all the ins and outs of it. I think eventually the water starts to subside though, starts to lose its vacuum.

Pretty sure you can easily make one of these. Think about it. Fill your basin with water, and fill a large glass with water up to the top, and then cover it with clingfilm or something so the water doesnt get out. Turn it upside down, and put the mouth of the glass on the water so the rim of the cup is submerged, then take away the clingfilm. The water stays in the cup.

By “considering its aesthetic aspects”, that simply means, its one fuck of a job to clean out. Lift the cup off the water.

if the power was out you couldn’t fill the tank that is all. It is easiest to fill this style of tank with a shop vac. Natural suction, less air pressure, draws the lower tanks waster up into the upside down tank. unless you add a fair amount of air to the top tank it stays that way. Like putting your finger over a straw then lifting it out of the glass. It stays full of liquid.
