Tiny Air Bubbles cause by filter?

I set up my tank last Wednesday and ever since then I have these tiny air bubbles that seem to be coming from my filter (whisper ex20 I think its called). Anyway, I have an air stone under the gravel in the back of the aquarium that, I think, might be pushing big air bubbles into the filter’s intake which might be causing them to brake up into tiny ones.

I’m wondering if anyone has any ideas on this? The water is clear but because of these tiny air bubbles it looks…like there is alot of little dust in there.

I have the same filter and the same thing, i dont think you should worry because those bubbles give oxegen to the fish without making them go up to the top

it’s actually probably the filter. filters break the top of the water causing bubbles. it’s normal and healthy. filters oxygenate the water way better than air stones. it’s nothing to worry about. if you don’t like it try raising the water level.

    could be what you said.
An other explanation could be because the filter is drawing air, some filters do that when the filter mediums are clogged, however i doubt it because you’d have lots of bubbles coming out in bursts.
anyway try turning the air stone off and see if it goes away. if its just air bubbles its nothing about anyway
