Things for a 19 year old gal to do in Dallas?

I realise there are many things to do in Dallas, I’ve heard about the shopping, the jfk museum, the aquarium and the zoo (FW), but I want to know more!!

I will be spending about 10 days in DFW – what are some must see/ must do/ must eat things?!

I love music, eating, shopping, the arts, so basically anything goes!!

Thanks !

How about the Fort Worth stockyards? You can go to Billy Bobs , ride the train, ride a longhorn, go to a rodeo, shop and eat! In Dallas you can go to the top of Reunion Tower and see all of Dallas and beyond, then go shop at the West End. There are also museums in Fort Worth that are good, as well as Omni theater that is great.

Are you a big club goer or into live music? Dallas has alot of different types of clubs and different music venues, quite like Austin. I can tell you the best clubs for each type of music if you want, just email me for that.

Dallas has the most malls than any other city in the country, di you know that? From the most expensive and designer stores to bargain departments or factory outlets with great deals.

Have a taste for some thing different? Dallas has a wide array of restaurants. Tell me your favorite type of food and I can tell you the best places to go that serve it.

As for the arts, Dallas has a few museums, but my favorite is the festivals and productions. Shakespeare in the Park is going on right now where you can watch his plays and have a picnic or sit on the grass (seats are available as well). The Dallas Museum of Art will have the King Tut exhibit this fall.

Love animals as much as me? The Dallas Zoo is very nice this time of year, but the Fort Worth Zoo is a must-see and very unique. The FW zoo is the oldest one in Texas. The Dallas World Aquarium is amazing! It is very big and has new sharks and penguins on exhibit.

    Hope this info helps!
