Ehh idk that maybe over populating. Its usually a gallon of water per inch of fish. so thatd be 5 or 6 gallons for the tetras 2 for the molly 1 and a half to two for the algae eater for he will grow and an african dwarf frog 2 to 3. So 13 gallons? Possibly more for growth? Yeah I say over populating. Try three or four mollys with the algae eater or try 5 tetras with two chinese algae eaters Or 3 dwarf frogs with 3 tetra for the best results!

    hey man
i just wanted to say that those fish dont mix for starters
1st of all the mollies are schooling fish and have different water types to all those other fish because they are brackish water (which means they need a salt in there water half fresh half salt water fish)
2nd thing the chinese algae eater is going to out grow and kill or really annoy your other fish to death they are known for it they can grow more than 10 inches easy!

so what i would recommend is
    6 neon tetras
    1 african dwarf frog
1 SIAMESE algae eater (its much different and very peaceful)
    1or2 dwarf gouramis
or 1 male paradise fish (they are soooo beautiful when they are happy and flare off their colours)

First of all, you might want to wait just a little bit longer because the cycling might not be done. I personally have a ten gallon tank and had gotton my fish the day after and all but four died within two weeks. The only problem with your tetras is that they are small. I had wanted to get them too, but when they were placed in the same area as the molly, the molly chased them. You could still get the molly because the tetras, and all small fish, will outrun the molly. This is not with all cases though, you could see the molly’s reaction of the tetras and see from there. With the chinese algae eater, I would recommend getting a snail or two instead. I have one and she keeps my tank squeaky clean, and looks nicer. I would also recommend getting two frogs to keep each other company, they will also cuddle up in the corner, it’s really cute.

They would succeed, but I would recommend getting either more mollies or getting fish that are about the same size of mollies or else they small fish get bullied.

I don’t really like mollies because they are high maintenence and some can be food aggressive. Mine heards my other fish into the corner while he eats and chases the other fish around fish. I wouldn’t get a molly, but instead Red Minor Tetras. I have two and they are beautiful.

Your group would work, but not the best for beginners.

Here is a group that I would recommend and you could get them at Petsmart:
    2 African Dwarf Frogs
3 or 4 Long Fin Red Minor Tetras
2 or 3 Jumbo Neon Tetras
    1 or 2 Sunburst Platy
    1 Snail

If you really like your combo then keep it but for better results try this:

    3 or 4 Neon Tetras
    2 Mollies
1 Chinese Algae Eater or Snail
    2 African Dwarf Frogs

When you get your fish get them in sets of two or three, so get a few to begin with, wait a week or so than add more. This will be less stressfull on the fish. As you have you tank loaded with fish you might realize that there is a lot of space not being used up. This happens when you have top fish and bottom fish, then the middle seems empty. I personally don’t like top swimming fish because my tank is lower than eye sight so I can’t see them very well. If or when you tank seems empty or lonely get more fish, you will realize that they fit comfortably.

    Nope:

Neons actually need a bigger tank (15 gal or more), you could try ember tetras instead.

Molly, no, they need to be in groups, prefer brackish water and also need 15 gal or more.

CAE : Hell no. That is not a community fish at all. It needs 35 gals grows to be a foot long and gets territorial as it ages, then it gets a taste for slime coats of other fish, which can wound them.

Im no expert on ADF, so well no help from me here.

here’s a list of what will feel comfortable in 10 gals:
