What Island Is Best Recommend For Two 21 Yrs Olds Looking To Spend New Years In Hawaii?

Myself and a close friend are looking to spend New Years in Hawaii but have no idea of what island would be the best choice. We’re looking for somewhere that has a nice view of the ocean possibly a beach in an area that offers snorkeling and other things to do maybe see some whales or something at an aquarium, but also someplace that doesn’t totally die when the sun goes down. Maybe somewhere with some nightclubs or some kind of younger nightlife if that makes sense. I would appreciate any advice given …. Thanks !

Why Hasnt My Ammonia And Nitrate Levels Gone Down In My 55 Gallon Tank Running For 2 Years?

ts been 4 days since I had high ammonia and nitrate levels in my tank.
The gravel is what I cleaned out the first two days when I changed the water
day 1 and 2 – I changed 20% of the water. Swished and banged the filter pad in a bucket of the tank water. Did not feed my fish.
day 3 – changed 50% of the water. swished and banged the filter pad in a bucket of the tank water. Fed the food two small pinches in the morning and night.
day 4 – changed 75% of the water. swished and banged the filter pad in a bucket of the tank water. Did not feed the fish.
Has not changed from
ammonia – .5
nitrate – 5
fish in tank
1 – yellow tail acei
1 – Kenyi Cichlid
2 – Electric Yellow Cichlid
1 – albino snow whiet cichlid
3 – serpae tetra

Yep they really live that long. Ive had mine for around 2 years now. They need atleast a 2.5 gallon tank with a heater. Feed them 2 pellets twice a day and they will live a long while. Good luck!

Vegetarian For Years , Then …?

I have become a vegetarian but it hasn’t quite been a year. I have done a ton of research so I was surprised when my classmate told me that she is a vegetarian (for the past 6 years) and she got really sick and had to start eating fish again.(her doctor wanted her to eat meat all together,she refused) She hates it , but she claims she got better. I also read in the new book Some we love, Some we hate, and some we eat that the number one reason people become ex-veg’s is because they get sick.
Is there any truth to this?
It’s really confusing me.

Why Havent I Gotten A Cold Or Been Sick In Years?

I’m 24 and I have not had a cold since I was 19. Ive never had the actual flu in my life. I did have strep once at 20, so 4 years ago and that is the last time I was sick. Ive read that adults get on average 2 colds a year,
I do not eat well, I work 60 hrs a week , I also work next to co workers and such so I am not secluded. Because I work so much I mostly eat all fast food and I do not sleep much. Im tring to change my lifestyle, but as of now I do not exercise at all and just have a desk job. The only thing is that I take vitamins, I take fish oil, multi vitamin and garlic daily. Is this the reason? Do I just have great immunity?

Been Vegetarin For Almost 8 Years But Thinking Of Eating Meat Again?

Hi,
I’ve been a vegetarian for almost 8 years…I don’t eat meat or fish or anything with gelatine or such in.
This was mostly for moral reasons. I have had a hard time with friends and family about it but I know they only care about my health but I have had enough of the nagging and the jokes …my boyfriend calls veggie food dust and things like that…only being silly but it does annoy me quite alot when I get it alll the time.
But in recent years I have been ill quite alot, and everyone relates that to me not eating meat. I guess it could be, because it is true, I don’t look after myself as much as I should. Lots of stress with my college and family at home isnt so great mostly because my mum is bedridden with M.S.
But anyway…I have been thinking recently maybe I should start eating meat again…will it make me feel healthier? I’m constantly tired and I have noticed my skin is alot drier than it used to be (I don’t know if this is related) and I seem to pick up every cold or flu going.
But also mainly because I have had enough of the nagging and little jokes, I know they only care but they don’t realise it gets to me…I don;t nag them for eating meat and I never had tried to get people to be veggie…its their choice they can do whatever they want.
As I said I have thought about eating it again, but I just feel like I can’t, I feel guilty and like I am letting myself down after being veggie for so long, I’m quite proud of it. But also the thought of lots of things such as burgers makes me feel sick.
I don’t know what to do I just feel so miserable.
Sorry for the massive essay, I guess I just needed a rant
