My Betta Fish Is Sick And Limping. What’s Wrong?

My betta fish which is about 3-5 months old (still a baby) can’t seem to stay horizontally. This happened today morning. He’s limping: his posterior half of the body keeps turning on the side but not his head (as though his tail is broken). He can’t seem to go to the bottom of his tank when he tries and is very aggressive (he’s been very calm a week or so ago). Prior to this, he had been hitting himself against the glass of the tank. I’m thinking he hurt himself somehow? He is alive and eats so I hope that it is just a swim bladder disorder. He did have a swim bladder disorder, but this flipping happened for the first time.
Any advice on what should I do to help him? Could it be because of the aquarium salt that I put in his tank? He never had it before. Though it wasn’t much, so it shouldn’t be a problem.
I’m so stressing out because of this… We already lost 1 fish because of fungus.

I Don’t Know Whats Wrong With My Fish?

Well my platy is sick, I know that she probably will die… We went on vacation for 3 days and they were fed and everything from that time. But when we came back, she definitely looked dead. When we went to get her out, she burst into life and swam away. But she didn’t use her tail at all, just her fins, then went to rest on the gravel. She wasn’t laying down on her side, but she was just right side up. That’s all she does though, just goes onto the gravel and doesn’t move much, every time she looks completely dead. And then when she swims she only uses her fin and doesn’t swim with her tail at all, does anyone know whats wrong with her? We have 5 other fish in the tank, its a 29 gallon tank. 3 of them are platys, the other 2 are guppies.
She also doesn’t eat at all. I noticed this before vacation, but when we fed them blood worms she would eat them, then she would ignore the flake food. Is she picky and just dieing from starvation? Should I continue to feed her blood worms?
There is only one male platy is the tank, and he is only around one of the females at all times. Although, every time he sees the sick platy (wasn’t sick before) he would dart after her and scare her away. They don’t seem to like each other at all, and the sick one would avoid him at all times.
When we came back home, we cleaned the tank right away. We tested it, and the water was close to alert, after we cleaned it the water was fine.
If she needs to be seperated we have a little breeding net, can we separate her into that? If not we do have a 10 gallon I’m sure she will do fine in. Also, if the male is just harassing her what can i do about that? The other 2 females do just fine with the male. Another question though! In our old 10 gallon, we had the male, and the sick fish and the other female that he is always around. They never chased each other or anything in that tank, she used to eat flake food too in that tank. Then we upgraded to our 29 gallon and the male and her don’t get along anymore, and she doesn’t eat flake food. Anybody have an idea of what might’ve changed her attitude toward flake food, and the males aggression to her?

Whats Wrong With My Fish?

i was wondering if anyone new what is wrong with my fish, i bought some new stone from the 2dollar shop about a week ago and put them in the tank a few days later the starting not looking very well, then one of the fish died, I always have the fish tank clean and give them a pinch of fish food everyday, now the other two fish are sick and one of them keeps liking on his back nearly dead and then when you touch him he swims off, And the other one isnt doing so great either, By the looks of it they have like some sort of white peeling on there scales and they keep floating on there side but just still aliven need help any advice in whats wrong with them?

What’s It Mean When Your Sister Is Like This (3 Short Paragraph Story Inside)?

My sister has a fish, she’s responsible for cleaning out the tank and feeding it, but I always help her if she asks (which she always does) and remind her if she forgets. She asked for help, so I was helping her do her chore and we were joking around just being happy siblings.
I then remembered that she had woken me up this morning since I’d overslept (couldn’t sleep the night before). She woke me up at the same time as she did my Mother, but the thing my Mom is slightly disabled and 50 years old and likes me to get her coffee and breakfast every morning when she wakes up.
Since we woke up at the same time this morning, I couldn’t get my own coffee and own time before helping my Mother. This was OK, stuff happens. No big deal. The thing is, in the middle of helping my Sis with her chores I said very normally (no weird tone of voice, we were in good moods), that I’d appreciate it if she ever had to wake me up again that she could just try and do it a little bit before our Mom. She immediately said “I don’t care” in a snotty tone of voice. I responded she might try looking up the word Empathy, probably not in a good tone of voice at that point. Anyway, what does this mean about her?

Help, Whats Wrong With My Betta?

Hi guys hope your all well. I hope you can help me. Basically my Betta is gravely ill and even after 15 years of successful betta keeping i cannot for the life of me cure my betta. So about 6 months ago my originally blue and white butterfly betta started turning red. At first i didnt worry because the breeder i bought him from said he was bright red up to about 6 months old but then had a mysterious massive colour change. So i was thinking maybe its another colour change. Worried, i did the worst thing ever and asked a local aquatic/pet shop they’re oppinion, one said probably a colour change, another said scepticimia and yet another said finrot. So i continued to keep his tank levels balanced, kept stable temp, kept up weekly water changes all as usual. 3 months later the red is spreading and i notice a hole in his dorsal fin, immediately i though finrot- why hadnt i picked up on this earlier?! I dosed up on stress coat, aquarium coat and a little melafix. At the same time i had discovered a colony of snails appearing, probably from the java moss i stupidly bought from an aquatics i dont usually go to.So i removed that. 1 month later, the hole clears up but his fins are getting redder and i notice his fins are starting to get ragged. So in deperation i buy this stuff called eSHa 2000 for finrot and continue treating daily and making water changes weekly as directed. Apparantly til new growth starts to appear…well it hadnt and one month later and a whole bottle gone he’s worse if anything. So i do a 70% water change and start using something called Waterlife Myaxazin for finrot. Has that done anything? No. Now he is looking very ragged, pretty much all his fins are red, his body is pale, his gills have suffered some sort of damage as they are purple and today i discover he has whitespot and those horrid snails are still there even though i’ve done numerous water changes and removed as many as i could. Having said that he has still got a healthy appetite and what seems as happily swimming about. No sulking on the bottom or gasping for air etc. I am at a real loss now at what to do, i feel like i’ve exausted ideas. I suspect the snails may have had something to do with it. The water parameters have always been kept stable, its a well established tank, the temp is kept at 30 degrees at moment as i have raised the temp to support treatment. Now really feeling a bit stupid and panicking when maybe its too late .A guy today said to me if its scepticimia then its too late but that it could also be ammonia poisoning? Dont really have any experience in seeing that in a betta so i wouldnt know but all my test come back as 0. I dunno maybe i should buy a live water tester? Never in my history of betta keeping have i let a betta get this sick and be so confused. Thanks in advance guys for reading my essay and for any advice you may have.
Happy betta keeping and all those new to betta keeping take heed of my stupid ways with the whole aquatic/petshop advice…worst thing you can do in a panic, take advice from people here that know!

Whats Wrong With My Platy?

My Platy is pregnant but she just stays at the top of the water…floating… Ammonia is 0 and i have a air pump, and currently my water level is a little low and my filter output is splashing so thats stirring up the surface also… Is she sick? Ive heard of some fish dieing right before birth… Is this normal? Physical appearance looks perfectly fine. pH is about 7.2 AND YES SHES ALIVE Her gills are moving and shes moving her fins
