Listen, I do NOT have a tank heater. I have a 5.5 gallon fish tank with 5 zebra danios. Don’t worry I will be moving them to a 14 gallon fish tank soon. Anyway the fish tank is not near a window, I do not leave the tank lights on, and I feel the fish tank water, and it feels pretty cool. I have 2 submersible thermometers and a sticker one, and they all read 84-86 degrees. I know danios are pretty hardy fish do I am not that concerned, but when I get the 14 gallon fish tank and add tank mates, they might get all fried. What do I do? Would I have to add cold water regularly? Thanks in advance!
I’ve changed the filter, the whole filter not the cartridges, and ive changed the water completely like about 5 times and still it turns green after a while. I dont have a clue to what is wrong. Help please!!!!!
I have a 130L tank and ive done numerous 25-50% water changes in the past month and haven’t seen any change. I have 3 sword-tails, 6 neon’s, 1 platy, 1 chili barb and 1 harlequin-rosbora.
My local fish shop said it was because i added a large piece of driftwood to the tank and i needed to boil it, but i have boiled it twice, each time for at least 40 minutes and whenever i add it back to the tank it turns yellow the next day, need help.
ive got a siphon hose,filter,10 gal tank, decoration, air bubble maker, what chemicals do i need,if i need any, what is the easiest fish to maintain (list multiple verietys),do i need a bottom feeder,if so what kind, sucker fish, snail, idk,i need to know somthing about what type of environment the fish/snail needs to be in,id say like some fish can live in certain water better than others,i need the whole 9 yards, please
The fish got white spot disease and I treated the water and its gone blue. How long will it take for the water to go back to the normal colour? And when can I put the filter back in?
I was explaining to my daughter how the MSR water filter worked and told her it would even clean fish tank water and she was determined to try it out. Water tasted just like bottled water! More info on the MSR filter at tinyurl.com
