Hey guys i have a 15 gallon fish tank with two goldfish. One comet and one fantail, they love it in their and they often rub against each other which is cool because they aren’t even the same species!
I have recently been given a 23-25 gallon/ 90,000 litre fish tank and i am going to make it into a tropical freshwater aquarium. It will be a community fish tank with different ground, medium and surface dwellers.
I plan to get 2 corydoras catfish to help clean
2 or 3 kuhli loaches (really small)
7 neon tetra
2 baby red-tal black sharks
i was also thinking of getting 5 more fish of a certain school fish: possibly guppies!
Is this too much?? i would probably trade my sharks back in if they got too big though, or i’ll buy a bigger tank for the sharks! PLease give me feedback before i buy the fish.
* the fish tank WILL constantly be clean
* i WILL have real plants, natural looking scenery and enough swimming space.
i love my fish.
Please give me advice.
Is this too overloaded should i be careful of the sharks and so on??
THANKYOU!!
HAHA silly mistake i meant to type 90 litres not 90,000! DERR..
I am only keeping the comet and the fantail in the 15 gallon tank for a while. as these are my first two fish i thought i could keep them and learn how to feed them, clean them and watch them grow. Once they get too big for the tank i am going to put them into the pond outside or maybe back to the petshop if i can’t get the pond ready in time. So everythings fine. I’m really keen on getting the variety of neons, khulis, cories AND the shark!!
I WOULD provide plenty of hiding spots under rocks and amongst aquatic plants for the littler fish and i would only buy ONE!!
haha i just want one soo much!
Thankyou everyone heaps!!
how about i find a really timid one in the petshop and be very cautious of it’s behaviours and if it’s too vicious i’ll take it back!??
how about:
* 2-3 cories
* 2-3 khulis
* 7 neon tetra
* 1 little, timid, friendly, vegetarian RTBS

The fish got white spot disease and I treated the water and its gone blue. How long will it take for the water to go back to the normal colour? And when can I put the filter back in?

I have a female betta in a community aquarium with a red wag platy, a red tail shark, 5 neon tetras and 2 african dwarf frogs. I feed the tank tropical flakes, a few bloodworms, and an algae wafer every morning. The betta has been eating the flakes along with the bloodworms. I was just wondering if that could be harmful or unhealthy? Because I know the have food especially for bettas. I just always forget to buy it when i go to the store XD
Any help is greatly appreciated.
