Will These Fish Live Happily Together?

I currently have a 30 gallon freshwater aquarium. It has an aqua clear 50 power filter. It currently has 3 zebra danios, 3 serpae tetras, and a small pleco. I want to add some new fish in the tank. I was thinking about an albino or regular rainbow shark or bala shark. and a gourami. Can you give me some more suggestions i want to fully stock my tank. I want medium sized fish or can grow to medium size. Do you guys have any suggestions for any new fish that are cool and non schooling? It can be schooling if their cheap and cool looking. Thanks in advance.

What Fish Can Live Together?

I want to set up a fairly large aquarium (willing to do whatever size is needed for healthy fish) and found several that I like, but wasnt sure how well they would do together.
Was wondering if i could put a bala shark, silver-tipped shark, pictus catfish, black ghost knife fish, common plecostamus, hifin spotted plecostamus, and dinosaur bishir all in the same LARGE tank together without any problems.
Totally fine with not having all of them, but just wanted to know if this was even possible or if its just a horrid idea. lol
Thanks for any advice!

Q&A: Can “Guppies” and “Mollies” stay together in the same fish tank ?

Question by Lisa: Can “Guppies” and “Mollies” stay together in the same fish tank ?
Yesterday I bought a few Guppies and a few Mollies. I put them into a tank with 2 little Goldfish-like fishes. I saw one Molly chasing the little goldfish-like fish so I separated the 2 other fishes in another tank because they got bitten on their tails and fins.
This morning I woke up to feed the fishes,, I saw 3 dead Guppies. Their tails and fins have been bitten. Now I have separated all the Guppies from the Mollies. So could Guppies and Mollies actually stay together in the same fish tank ?? (When I asked the shop.. they said it was OK)
PLEASE HELP ME.. and THANK YOU soo muchh !!

Night of the Guppy – Book 1 of the Series: Sylvia Chesterton, Vampire Guppy Hunter

From the author of Blood and Sunlight: A Maryland Vampire Story, comes the riveting tale of a vampire fish, a hunter, and the most important guppy show competition ever. (Totally tatheleth and ridiculouth, but try reading it anyway. After all, it’s free – and what better way do you have to waste your time?)

Keeping Two Young Boy Water Dragons Together?

Howdy! I have a CWD who is about a year and 1/4 old and he is in a 75 gal aquarium. My friend just gave me one of her water dragon’s babies who is about 8 months old. Since this was kind of an emergency adoption, all I have for the new one is a 20 gal long aquarium and a little bit of leftover repti-bark. The new dragon, Spike, also doesn’t have a UV light, whereas my dragon (named Dragon xD) has his tank all set up with all the lighting/heat/etc he needs. So I was thinking that maybe I could move Spike into Dragon’s tank for now until I can get another big tank for Spike… Do you think this is a good idea? They are both boys, but Dragon is very sweet and is never really aggressive to anyone. And Spike was used to hanging out with his brothers and sisters (and his giant adult dad) and isn’t mean at all. Spike and Dragon have been out of their tanks together a few times (but I was holding them both), and have seen each other through the glass a few times and never did more than look at each other. Spike is a little big for his age and Dragon is a little small for his age so there isn’t a huge size difference, but Dragon is still bigger and stronger. Do you think it would be okay to put them together, or should I just keep Spike in the small tank for now until I can buy/make another tank?

Do Tetras Of Different Species School Together?

I’m sorry if my question appears rather naïve, I’m very new to the exciting world of aquaria and fishkeeping. I was wondering if my future tank, which I’m planning, could happily house say two Black Phantom Tetra and maybe three Neon Tetra. Would they school together due to their size? Would the Black Phantoms be unhappy if they’re just a pair, or would having other tetras of a different species counterract this? Any advice is very much appreciated!
Thank you for your time.

which species of fish can i keep together ?

Question by milad: which species of fish can i keep together ?
i have a 25 gallon aquarium and right now i only have 2 very small gold fish but i did some research and found out that the ideal temp for gold fish is 18 c to 24 c so i found a list of tropical fish that can live in water temp of 22 c so i’m just wondering which one of these fish would i be able to keep together in one aquarium at 22 c based on their behavior and the food they eat ?
list : gold fish, platy , black moor, neon tetra or bloodfin tetra , guppy ,convict cichlid or jewel cichlid , zebra danio ,tiger barb and cray fish .

None. Your tank is too small for the fish you have already.

Q&A: Good fish for an aquarium together??

Question by Baby Girl: Good fish for an aquarium together??
60-gallon tank. I don’t want a simple goldfish set-up. I’d be interested in salt water tanks. What kind of fish could I put together? How do I take care of the species?

Could I Have These Fish Together In An Aquarium?

Can I have these fish together in a 40g aquarium?
1x Marble Veil Angelfish
1x Keyhole Cichlid
7x Cardinal Tetras
5x Peppered Cory Cats
6x Harlequin Rasboras
2x Dalmatian Mollies
I almost got a tank like that, except I had 5 Tiger Barbs in mind instead of the mollies, after I learned that tiger barbs were fin nippers, I dumped the idea and I now have something else. But now im thinking, could I have it if I had Mollies? I know I would have to take caution with the Keyhole and the tetras, but would it work out?
