Will Fish Medication Hurt Them If They Don’t Need It?

one of my fish died. not sure what it was but it had spots that were kind of sparkly on it’s head. I bought QuICK cure to treat my other fish in case they have it. The other fish seem to be acting fine so i dont know if i should use it. i dont see anything on them either. if i use the medicine and they dont need it will they die or get sick?

I got 4 goldfish from walmart about 2months ago I clean their tank once a week (it’s a 10gallon tank) I noticed one of the fishes tail started well it looked like shedding but I just thought the other fishes were bugging him but they all get along fine today while cleaning the tank I noticed another fishs tail started shedding to and the first fishes tail is almost gone I put this one in a cup and touches his tail and stuff peeled of (it looked kind of like skin) so I looked it up and it kind of looks like finrot does any one know if this is finrot or just shedding.
Also if it is finrot how would I treat it? I read salt helps but will all natural sea salt help? Thank you :)

3 Cory Cats-fin Rot?? Please Help! I Dont Want Them To Suffer!?

i have a 30 gallon long tank. i have 7 tiger barbs, 3 platys, and 3 cory cats. They tank is established and cycled. Everything reads zero and nitrates are only like 3ppm or less. I keep the water clean and do weekly 30% water changes. One of my cories suddenly looks like he has extreme fin rot and the other two barely look like they do but just a little. ALL of the other fish are perfectly fine and no signs of fin rot. Do you think that because i only have three cories, they are getting stressed and getting fin rot? Should i go out and buy 3 more (i know they are schooling fish) to have a school of 6, or will they just get infected also? and if you reccomend me a treat ment, will it kill the biological filtration bacteria???

Im having to put far too much stress on my fish by cleaning the water constantly, id say 25 percent a day :( . This PH variation cant be good for them.
I Hand feed them with long tweezers frozen blood worms, frozen brine shrimp, and i try to get them to eat shrimp pellets or freeze dried blood worms occasionally.
However, i have small gravel and it just sits there..And they are not very active about finding it..
I got a heater today thinking maybe itll speed their metabolisms up. They are in a ten gallon tank aquarium that is filtered, but still when the food hits the water only a small bit is taken from the tweezers and the rest floats up to the top and then sinks back down to the rocks.
This is a problem because my betta fish is pretty PH sensitive ..and the change in PH from the food in the rocks makes him sick (white spots) Im considering a terra cotta plate but im not sure how big of one to get and how to switch them over from putting it right in front of their faces to on a small incaved dish..I also dont want the 2 frogs fighting in the plate over food. Thanks.

I’m Getting Some Fish Eggs In The Mail, What’s The Best Way To Hatch Them? Advice Asap Please?

I’ve been breeding live bearers for years but this will be my first experience with egg layers. I ordered some rainbow fish off aquabid.com and the seller is also giving me a mop with a bunch of eggs on it. How do I raise the eggs that are on the mop? I have a breeding net and so I was thinking about just putting the mop with the eggs in a breeding net in my big tank and then remove the fry as they hatch and put them into a tank I have just for raising fry. Also, I heard about another method of getting a little air tight container and putting the eggs with totally clean, treated water in there and then floating the container in my big tank until the eggs hatch, changing the water with fresh treated water every day… what would be the best way to do this? Any advice or ideas on this would be great! Thanks
Oh yeah – I forgot to mention, the reason I wasn’t planning on just putting the mop directly into my fry tank is because there are some snails in there and I was afraid they may eat the eggs

How Did Moses Find All The Animals,gathered Them Up,and Keep All The Animals Well Fed And Alive On The Ark?

He and his family would have to:
1.Keep enough food on there
2.Get rid of all the dung except for the dung beetles
3.Keep them from mating or at least giving birth while on the ark so they don’t take up all the space
4.Make sure none of them get sick and die
5.Prevent them from murdering each other
6.Make sure each part of the ark is well suited for each animal.Includes water for fishes who can live in the flooded world,nice and cold for polar bears and stuff,etc.
Also how did he:
1.Managed to go around the world and gather up all the animals
2.Know what size to build the Ark
3.Acquire enough resources to make the Ark and have enough supplies on it.
Did Moses have technology 10000 years ahead of us?
