My Goldfish Is Not Swimming, Just Gasping At The Bottom Of The Tank With Fins Down?

I have 4 smallish (<2.5 inches) goldfish in a 10-gallon aquarium. Three of the fish are healthy, but one has gotten quite sick quite suddenly. Yesterday morning I noticed it was laying at the bottom of the tank on its side gasping. Its fins were down and its gills were working quite hard. I thought it might be contagious so I removed it from the other fish and put it into a large mixing bowl (had nothing else, lol) with fresh clean water of a suitable temperature.
My fish still isn't better. What could possibly be going on?

I Just Changed The Water Of My Fish Tank. My Goldfish Is Not Moving A Lot. It Is Alive But Swimming Too Little?

I have 1 small goldfish in a 2.5 gallon tank. I just changed all its water for the first time n cleaned the whole bowl n gravels. It is not moving much now. It is quite an active fish though. I had changed its 70% water last week, but hadnt moved it to another vessel at that time. Today i moved it to another jar for a while, when i washed its bowl. Added a pinch of salt too after changing the water. What to do now? Its not moving much. Im worried. Help.

Sailfin Tang Swimming Sideways?

OK, I’ve had my sailfin tang for…a month? A month I think, and he is silver dollar size ( a little bigger when his fins are stretched). He is in a 210 gallon reef tank and so far his tank mates are a oscellaris clownfish and a cleaner wrasse. Yesterday I noticed the sailfin and the cleaner wrasse rubbing against the liverock. Today I saw that the sailfin is swimming side-ways… I fed the fish and everybody ate normally ( especially the sailfin) but, when he was done he went back to swimming sideways. I feed them small pieces of krill, formula one, mysis shrimp and I put garlic on the food. Why is he doing this and what can I do to help? Also, why doesn’t he ever go to the cleaner shrimp for a good cleansing? And how come when he goes to the cleaner wrasse the wrasse scans him but doesn’t clean?

Blood Orange Parrot Fish Is Swimming Sideways?!?

I bought a brand new aquarium about 2 weeks ago. i waited the 48 hours for a cycle, and brought my water in to be tested, everything was fine on the test… so i bought fish. i bought one blood orange parrot (cichlid) fish and two jack dempseys. (i have a 45 gallon tank) when i introduced them into their new home, they were fine. i have been feeding them frozen shrimp and flakes and cichlid pellets. since about the 4th day i had them, the parrot fish and one of the dempseys would just sort of float at the top. i figured they needed i hiding place, so i bought two cave-like structures, and now they wont leave them! the parrot fish just floats in one of the caves on its side! it comes out to eat but them gois right back inside! i dont know whether its sick or whether its shy. help? comments? concerns? thanks

Crazy Fish Swimming On Its Back?

I bought 4 guppies yesterday and added them to my guppy tank. Its not ovecrowded, its clean and everything, and all my old fish and 3 of my new fish are happy, but one of them was swimming on his back, floated, than swam on his back more. then he spazed out and flopped out of the water, was doing contortions, swimming in circles, swam on his back, then died. What happened? Ive never seen this before?!?1? Will my other fish do this?
