I bought 2 little $0.14 goldfish for my 3 yr old last night. Treated the water w/ prime last week and gave the rocks and water a chance to get all ready. Test strip says water is perfect… But both fish are acting like they are having swim bladder issues this morning… I’m totally broke but I have aquarium salts and I put an algae pellet in… Any ideas? They came from separate tanks at the store btw…the last 2 gold fish died of swim bladder issues. I just emptied the water out and started fresh, but I didn’t go as far as bleaching the rocks… Should I? Is there any point?
