… desk. It’s about 5 gallons. How many fish can fit in that size and be healthy? I was hoping 4, one of which will be the resident gold fish. What other breeds of fish can survive together in a small environment like the one I am thinking of purchasing ?

ive had my green terror fish for 2 years, and when i got it it was about 2 inches big and now it still cant be more than 2-3 inches! i thought green terrors are suppost to grow up to a foot.
*worth noting*
the green terror lost its entire tail fin almost 2 years ago due to being viciously attacked by my red devil cichlid.
it is a girl (i know cause it layed eggs several times)

I have a 24 gallon reef tank, with a false percula, royla gramma, and, RIP, a six line wrasse and a hector’s gobby. The gobby was quite small, and my coral banded shrimp is pretty big, the gobby dissapeared about 2 months ago; I assumed that the shrimp got him. Well, yesterday I noticed that the wrasse is gone. No signs of him anywhere. He was larger than the goby, probably about 2″ long or so. Could the shrimp have caught and killed it? I can’t think of any other explanation, my water quality is excellent and there were no signs of any of the fish being sick. The only other large thing in the tank is a regular black brittle star, but I don’t think they are really capable of catching fish like ther serpent stars are.
Thanks for the input guys, it seems like I’m not the only one that has lost fish to these shrimp! I don’t feed him anything special because he eats the flake food or brine shrimp that I feed the fish. He molts like every two weeks so I assumed he was getting enough food. I think I’m going to take him back to the store. Oh boy, it’s gonna be a bear getting him out of the tank…
