African Clawed Frog Wont Eat Or Stay Submerged, Sick, Disoriented, Or?

We had two African Clawed Frogs, and recently the first one died. We think they got something from the feeder fish I was feeding them. They used to be lively and now they wont eat.
So the first one died. We cleaned out the tank, treated the water, switched pumps. Now the other frog will not eat or even sink. He almost seems disoriented. He has been floating on top of the water and seems like he can not stay sunk. He used to stay at the bottom of the tank and come up for air. Now when he tries to stay down he has to anchor himself on some decoration.
We have tried everything we can think of and are using this as a last resort. Is there anything we can do to help or are we just stuck waiting it out?

I have a 36″ marine tank, it is about 6 weeks old. I have a yellow tang, 2 tomato clowns, a long nosed hawk, a cow fish, a cleaner shrimp, a decorater crab and a red leg hermit crab. I also have 2 soft corals. I use a skimmer, a hagen external pump, 2 powerheads and T5 lighting 99 watt white and 21 watt blue. the water tests as near perfect every time using 3 or 4 different testing kits. Anyway, my yellow tang is acting very strange. It has stopped swimming and lays on the bottom of the tank, if you touch it with the net, it wakes up and tries to swim, but soon sinks. It looks ok, no colour change, no spots or anything that looks suspicious. can anyone suggest anything please. p.s. I don’t have a quaranteen tank yet. BTW, the last fish I put in was the cowfish. and all the rest of the fish are great.

Fish usually start to act that way when they’re about to die. There may not be an exact cause, fish just live way shorter than humans. So if you happen to find it dead, dont be surprised.

My Betta Fish Is Sick – Help?

I’ve had many fish before, but i cant feally find out what this one is
Ive been taking good care of my betta fish for two years now, and today i was going to clean his tank. Its very nice and normally well-maintained, but ive been putting off cleaning his tank for some time now, (but not too long). Normally he’s swimming about happily, and even tries to attack the eraser of the pencil I sometimes leave on the desk (i rarely do this, because it probally stresses him out or sth.)
Hes been lethargic and cowering under the fake plants in his tank,(i use fake plants because the last time i got live ones, they killed my 9 year old gold fish with Ick) this really isnt like him. Upon further observation i also noticed his skin looks like they’re covered inn excess mucus and the color is more pale. Hes not floating properly, only slightly sideways, but enough to notice easilly. Noting seems different with his gills or breathing, except it’s hard to see IF he IS breathing, because his gills+mouth dont seem to be moving, (Yes, hes still alive). He just lays on the botom of the tank (a new tank, because i just cleaned the dirty one and moved him to a new clean fresh one).
Please explain the problem, and if possible post a link, along with treatment solutions.

I Need Advice On My Sick Fish!!!!!!!!!!please?

i bought an electric blue jack dempsey cichlid 4 days ago, he is about 9 weeks old and 1 1/2″. he lives with a very small plec, about his size and used to be fun and energetic but now all he does is sit in one spot most of the time. he rarely eats. i think hes sick but im not for sure. can anyone provide me with advice/tips? thank you

Is There Anything I Can Do For My Sick Guppy?

One of our six guppies was floating around the tank and some of our feeder fish (I forget the name… they’re small and brown like those footspa fish) were taking nibbles. I was getting ready to remove a dead fish, until I realised his fins were still going and he was doing his best to swim.
We’ve removed him from the tank and put him in a smaller, spare tank with water from the community aquarium so we don’t stress him out even more. This has never happened with any of our fish before, we’ve owned tropicals for quite a while, but I figure maybe he’s overfed? I know that goldfish float in a similar fashion when they’ve had too much to eat, but I don’t know about guppies.
Have you any idea what this could be and what we could do for him? Or do we just leave him in peace?

I Ate A Bit Of Tampon & Feel Really Sick. What Medicine Can I Take?

I have recently been obsessing about a woman at work. She is Chinese & shiny hair & wears lovely heels. Last night after she took a really long time in the women’s toilet I went in their & fished out her tampon from the swing top bin in the ladies toilet. I ate a bit so that I could be closer to her i think.
I feel like throwing up but these cramps are killing me. What can I take to stop the pain?
Only serious replies please, i am in pain.
It does occur to me that it may not have been her tampon but instead some of the old rough looking women in my office. what have i done.

Will You Get Sick If You Don’t Eat Veggies?

This is purely for hypohetical reasons only. I love vegetables and have even contemplated becoming a vegetarian but my friend asked me this question…
If you don’t eat vegetables or fruit BUT you do pleanty of excercise and don’t eat junk like lollies and your diet was made up of Red meat, fish, eggs, nuts, bread, pasta, water and milk would you get sick?
Again this is purely hypothetically, my friend was not contemplating this lifestyle she was just curious.
