How Should I Act When My In Laws Come Up?

My in~laws always comes up for Thanksgiving? But this summer my husband was working out of town and staying at his mom’s he was in an accident and total his car. So he was not able to come home. But his step dad told him that he would bring him home my daughter and I wanted to go there and spend a couple of weeks. so they come up to get us. Everything went ok enjoyed visit. But when they brought us home after two weeks. Mom in law got upset because I was cleaning my kitchen up. My husband cleaned out is fish tank and poured fish water on clean dishes and got water all over the floor. I cleaned up his mess he said i will clean that up in a few minutes well his few minutes is a few hours. Anyway my mom in law got all upset and stared yelling lets go lets go. so they went back to the hotel room. took our daughter with them so she could go swimming. We were going to go also so we could go swim with her. they left my husband and I stayed here for a while then we went to the hotel and knock on the door mom answered and started pointing her finger at us more me than her son. she said this is my last time that i ever come visit you because all you 2 do is yel at each other and you say you love him and you say you love her well if that is love i want no part of it. she is looking at me the whole time. so I did not say one word to her until she shut up. then i looked at her and said well all i was doing was cleaning up your sons mess she looked at me and told me do not yell at me. I said well i am not yelling at you. But i have not seen them since June they are coming up for thanksgiving how should i act around her. I sent her a card telling her that what would she have done if i acted like that the 2 weeks i was at your home everytime you started cleaning you home

Why Should Anyone Praise God Or Give Him Credit For Anything (read The Whole Question)?

Imagine i dug a hole along the path you take home from work every day knowing that you would come upon it, fall in, and hurt yourself. Let’s say this is exactly what happens the next day, you fall in and break your leg… but i’m there to see it happen and i rush over to your aid, get you safely out of the hole, splint your leg and take you to the hospital. Don’t you think it would be wrong for me to expect praise for my heroic deeds of saving you in this case?
Now consider Christianity. This is basically what the Christian God does on a much grander scale… He set a trap for humanity (the tree, and the snake) and when humans fell victim to his plan, as he knew they would (he is omniscient after all, no?) he punishes them for eternity. But wait! he offers salvation in the form of Jesus Christ…. We should be thankful that he put us in this mess just so he could fish us out right… and the whole reason he did all of that is so that we would thank him and praise him. It sounds pretty sick if you ask me.
So, should the guy who digs you a hole just so he can save you and get credit be praised and thanked for his heroic deeds? If you say no, then why praise a God that supposedly did the exact same thing?

What Kind Of Filter Should I Get For My 2 Gallon Betta Bowl? Also, Do I Need Gravel?

Hello!
In the past, I tried taking care of a Betta I had been given as a gift. I was given a tiny (1/2 gallon) bowl to keep him in, along with a polyester plant and some gravel. Over time, as he got sicker and sicker, I read up more on Bettas (I didn’t do research beforehand because I didn’t realize I would be given this fish) and started buying more and more equipment. Unfortunately, I did all this for my Betta too late to save his life.
I’m planning on getting another fish, but this time around, I’m determined to get everything ready for Mr. Future Fish beforehand.
Here’s what I already own:
- A 2 or 2.5 gallon bowl (I understand that some people say this is too small for a Betta. Others say that 1 gallon is the minimum size. I feel very strongly about keeping this size bowl, since I simply don’t have enough space for a larger bowl or tank.)
- A Theo Hydor adjustable mini heater. (I used this for a few weeks with my first Betta, constantly checking with a reliable thermometer that it kept the bowl at a good temperature. I’m very happy with it.)
- Gravel
- One silk plant (I have two polyester plants as well, but I am concerned that they snagged my first Betta’s fins.)
- Water Conditioner
- A BiOrb Cleaner Pump (This was so awkward to use. Does anyone have a better suggestion?)
- TetraBetta Floating Mini Pellets (My first Betta hated these–he’d refuse to eat them, just spitting them out. Any better suggestions?)
- Freeze dried bloodworms (My first Betta gobbled these up like candy, though I hear they’re not a wholesome diet.)
I am planning on getting a water test kit — http://amzn.com/B000255NCI.
I want to get a filter for Mr. Future Fish. It needs to be small, quiet, and low-flow, since he likes still water. Do you have any recommendations? Is this one–TOM Aquarium Mini Internal Filter 45gph adjustable flow (http://amzn.com/B00176GKM8)–okay? Are there any better?
Also, do I have to use gravel? The first time around, it just trapped random debris, and was so hard to clean. I did full water changes, though I’m not sure if that was a good thing.
Thank you so much! Mr. Future Fish and I are so grateful!

What Should I Eat Right Now?!?

So, Im SUPER hungry and we’re pretty low on food right now. We have almost nothing in our pantry, fridge, or freezer. My moms running errands and she called me and asked if I wanted her to bring me something to eat. I said I didnt know and that I’d call her back when I made up my mind, but I dont know what to eat. Im a Pretty picky eater though. This is what I wont eat:
-Burgers
-Chinese food (allergic to MSG)
-Taco Cabana (I’ve eaten here FAR to many times, Im tired of this place)
-Fish
-Anything from a Walmart deli, their food makes me sick
So what would sound good for me to eat? I have a really big appetite btw. My mom also said it cant be anything expensive like a pizza I personally dont want anything you have to bake cuz starving.

Can Some One Give Me A Detailed Description On How I Should Clean My Fish Tank With My Piranha In It?

I can’t imagine that would be a good idea… why not just take the piranha out and THEN clean it? I think it saves a lot of skin (haha…) for everyone..

I bought an aquarium for my new corn snake and I afraid of it getting out. I’ve been looking at the Exo Terra 12x12x12 Terrarium and I’m curious if that is the equivilent of a 10 gallon tank or if I will need a 12x12x18 terrarium. I’d like to save money but i want something very realistic and comfortable for my first snake. Any advise would be helpful, Thanks!

The Texas cichlid (Herichthys cyanoguttatus, formerly Cichlasoma cyanoguttatum) is a freshwater fish of the cichlid family. Also known as Rio Grande cichlid, this species is originated from the lower Rio Grande drainage in Texas and Northeastern Mexico, particular on the sandy bottom of deep rivers. This is the only cichlid species native to the United States, and has been introduced by man as far North as Central Texas where they live in various lakes and rivers. (wikipedia)
