My Koi Keeps Jumping Out Of The Water. Please Help!!!!!!!!!!!! ;,(?

My koi fish has been juping out of the water every now and then and is really concerning me. 2 koi fish that i once had already died because of a stupid mistake i did ( water was too hot and aparently cooked them ;,( r.i.p ) since i promised to do better with the new one i got. Ive got a better filter for the tank, a liquid that cleans out a whole bunch of stuff, and better food. It has already taken out one of the lights from splashing water onto it and shorting it out. I dont want him to die next so please help. * tank is 15 gallon and koi is 2&1/2 inches in size. I feed him floating pellets that he likes alot. Every time i open the lid to the pellets he comes from his hiding spot and imidiatly goes to front of tank.

My Betta Seems Gravely Sick, Please Help Me?

first of all, i got this betta last saturday. since then he has been in a two gallon tank with a filter, gravel, and bamboo.
two new changes:
- new black gravel put in last night. first washed in warm water.
- new heater http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.js…
i have been treating my fish for fin rot with proper dosage of medication.
as of tonight he has been laying at the bottom of the tank, he has been eating, but he has this white patch all below his throat (eyes/mouth). it seems as though a sore has started at the beginning of his top fin, and like red patches have been sprouting all over the place. i tested the ph and it was hard, alkaline. bettas are egg laying fish so i thought that was fine. he also seems like a white hole is starting above his eye.
i noticed this morning that the filters bubbles had changed, from big and bulbous to small and clumpy, if you run your hand across the top of the tank it seems as though the water has the same consistency of freshly poured soda.
please help me for i am not about to destroy this fish cause hes sick; he has every right to live.

Please Help Me. Does This Sound Like A Phobia :( ..?

I am TERRIFIED of sharks :(
If I’m watching an advert, or searching images on the computer, or turn the TV on and a program comes on about sharks or whatever, my heart gives this horrible jolt. No idea what it is, but it literally feels as if I’d been given an electric shock. Then I get rid of the thing, so I turn the TV off or close the window on the computer etc. & literally sit there completely still, wide eyed and all, for quite a while until the shock wears off. My heart races; I have even cried in the past because it’s scared/shocked me so much seeing it.
I literally just typed something into the Images search box, nothing to do with the sea or anything so god knows why this came up. Anyway, a shark’s mouth came up as one of the pictures. It wasn’t even open or anything, it was just the side of the shark’s mouth with it’s mouth slightly open just so you could see it’s teeth. I FREAKED out. My heart did that disgusting jolty thing, and that’s what prompted me to ask this question on here lol :/
So yeah.. I can’t see them, even if it’s a tiny picture, I end up crying if I look at one too long. I sometimes shake, that’s not very common though. I get that heart jolty thing. I go red in the face.
If I go to an aquarium and there’s a shark bit, like those glass tunnels for example, I hold onto someone, close my eyes and they have to lead me through to the other end. I can’t make myself walk through it if my eyes are open. I remember a while ago, with school, we went to the iMAX cinema where they show 3D films, and it was a Deep Sea film. & on one part of the film it goes “There are little fishes, like these..” , straight away I knew the next bit was going to be “And big ones like these..” so I closed my eyes instantly and EVERYONE screamed in the cinema lol. It was a shark, just as I thought it would be.
Sorry this is bit of an essay, I just want to know if it is a phobia?

!!please Help!! Is My Pleco Going To Be Okay?

i got up this morning and i went to feed my fish and right now i have a 10g tank and i got a baby pleco about 2-3 weeks ago along with some feeder goldfish for my albino frog and i also have a fantail goldfish in the same tank.
When i went to feed them my pleco was floating upside down on the surface of the water. I assumed he was dead and i gently nudged him with my pinky finger and he started swimming and then he went back to floating on his backside. so i nudged him one more time and he placed himself and the side of the glass like he should.
Please help is he sick, or was he just doing this because he was bored?

5 Year Relationship Break-down (need Mature Advice Only Please)?

I would prefer somebody with a little bit more experience with long-term relationships to help me with this. Thanks.
I had dated my ex-girlfriend for about 5 years. I am a 23 year old male and she is 22.
My 5 year relationship…
We met in our mid-late teens, and hit it off very well and quickly. Her parents weren’t fond of me because I was a “rebel” back in highschool. Her parents wanted a hard-working, ambitious, obediant boy for their daughter. So, her parents never liked me from the start. Eventually, I ended up going to college after taking a year off highschool because I need to really start taking my life seriously. Problem was, at the time, I didn’t know what I wanted to do and what path I should take. So, I picked a course I thought I may be interested in. Of course, my ex-girlfriend loved that and it went pretty well with her parents aswell. I took a loan, went to college, decided this isn’t what I wanted to do after the first semester. After that, I took a second semester in another course I thought I would be interested in, but unfortunetly didn’t like that either. So in the end, I dropped out of college. My ex-girlfriend was very disappointed, and her parents resented me after that.
About half a year later, I find out my ex-girlfriend was cheating on me. I had a hunch because she was seeing me less frequently, she was less physical and she was emotionally distant. They were dating for a few months but it turned out it was nothing serious. This guy was what her parents thought was an “ideal” boyfriend for her and encouraged it, however, she felt hardly any feelings for him and eventually broke up with him. She would later become interested in me again with promises that it would never happen again.
From this point on in our relationship, things were always a different from what they once were. She was just as emotionally and physically tied down, but it seemed like she wanted room. She discouraged her best friends from speaking to me. I was always last priority regarding friends and family – I never came first, ever anymore. So for the last few years, it was stable but exactly as I described the entire time but eventually things would change – again.
About 3 weeks ago, my ex-girlfriend abruptly decided she wanted to break-up with me. She said she wanted to start fresh. The first week she was ignoring me, but eventually started talking to me by the end of the week. The next week we began talking a little bit more and more. Eventually, she told me that she liked this new guy and was dating him already. I kept my cool and said it was alright even though I felt nearly sick to my stomach. Over the course of the third week, we began talking more and more, even about her new boyfriend. I found out they have already kissed, so it is a serious relationship. Also, she talks positive about him all the time, however, she recently got annoyed that he hadn’t called her the night before and got emotional about how he may not like her.
When we talk now, she brings up our “Honeymoon” phase of our previous relationship often, and also asks if I am dating anybody and seems to get quite jealous. She is perfectly comfortable talking about her new boyfriend with me, and she also accepts hugging and getting close with me but won’t go any further then that (Nothing sexual). She sees him ALOT more then she sees me (probably close to 40+ hours a week whereas I am about 2-3 hours a week).
So, what I am confused about. Does she still like me? Should I even take her back if she breaks up with this guy? Does he sound like a rebound? Should I just move on because there are other fish in the sea? Am I being sort of a “back-up” if this new relationship she is in fails? I feel confused and my emotions are a bit torn.
Now, these past few weeks I have been focusing on myself. Going out with the guys much more often, weight lifting, looking for higher paying work. So, I havn’t been sitting around waiting for my ex-girlfriend to contact me and I gave her alot of space since the break-up.

Does She Like Me Or Not??? At Least One Person Please Help Me!?

I tried asking this already, but I wasn’t getting any response (if this breaks any of the rules, I apologize, I’m still new here).
So I’ve been hanging out with this girl for a long time now, and I really like her, but I’m trying to figure out if she likes me back. Let me explain, we go to the same community college and over the course of the past couple semesters, we’ve become pretty good friends, but I want it to be more than that, and I’m not sure the feeling’s reciprocated. We’ve hung out a couple of times. She wants to be a marine biologist so I brought her to the aquarium, which she let me pay for, and we had coffee not too long ago (which was her idea), but there’s still some doubt in my mind concerning her feelings. The reason for this is that I find that she gives me a lot of mixed signals which make things really confusing. First and foremost is that she has a lot of male friends, one of which is her best friend (more on that later), and while I think she treats me differently than her other guy friends, it’s hard to tell.
There’s also the fact that she used to hug me all the time whenever she saw me, but lately she seems almost hesitant to even touch me. There are days when she smiles at me all the time, looks me straight in the eyes when we talk, compliments my shirt, and treat me as if there’s no one else in the room whenever we get into conversation, but then there are other days when she’s extremely short with me, barely looks at me, and when she does, I have trouble reading the look in her eye. In fact, over the past couple days, she seems to shift from being totally cool with me, to being very distant with me. I gotta say, it’s driving me a little insane.
Then there’s also the issue of her best friend, a guy who I can best describe as absolutely obsessed with her, so much so that he’s been known to follow her to classes he’s not enrolled in on a regular basis, and when he doesn’t, he waits outside the classroom for her to get out. She insists they’re only friends, and for the most part, I believe her, mostly because I have rarely seen her behave in such a way around him that suggests that she feels of him as anything more than a friend (despite his best attempts). Still, he makes me nervous, mostly because he hates me for obvious reasons, and I’m fairly certain he criticizes me to her when they’re alone (at least once). Most of the time, I can just ignore him, but as much as I hate to admit it, he holds a fair amount of power of her, and I’m partially concerned he could be turning her against me, which could account for her recent distance from me (or this could simply be me being paranoid). Him following her around everywhere also makes it extremely hard to get her alone, because whenever he does leave her alone, it’s right in the middle of her job as a tutor, which means I don’t really get an opportunity to talk to her then, AND, from what I understand, she has another job as a florist and has to take care of her family alot, which means she has very little free time.
We’ve talked on the phone quite a few times and I text her whenever I can think of a good excuse to, and I thought things were going well, but there are times when I can’t quite tell what’s going on in her head. So does she like me? Is she playing hard to get? Or is she just not interested at all? I could use whatever advice you guys can give me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Tank Cleaning Help Please!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Well i gave my angelfish a pack of bloodworms gave them a little too much now theres at least 100 blood worms on the bottome of my tank how should i clean it u[ should i put my fish in another tank while i clean it off all i have is a half a gallon bowl where my betta use to live =p i have a catfish thats vers small a pleco which is very small and two quarter sized angels

Please Help! White Stripe Across My Fish.?

Please Help!
I bought a bat fish yesterday and i left it in my aquarium for the night with a few other fishes. Although he now has a white streak or stripe across his body.. Even though he was originally all black..
Do any of you have an idea about why this is??
