Are My Aquarium Plants Dying?

i have a tropical fish aqarium approx 3ft long. its kinda new and about 2weeks old, its still going through the maturing stage.. in the tank i have:
5 danios
rocks
bubble wall and a bubble Ball
filter
natural plants approx 15 (different sizes)
im putting Easy Carbo “3-5ml” in every day to help plant growth and JBL Ferropol 24 “3 drops” everyday for fertiliser. now when i put them into the tank they were a lush green colour with no brown leafs, ive had them in the tank for about 4-5days.
looking at the plants now a few of them are going abit of a greenie colour, some are leafs okay with brown parts on them. some of the leafs on sertain plants are starting to slightly wrinkle up and the one plant is a lush green at the top but as you go further down the plant it starts going a browny green colour.
all of the plants have more/longer white roots but also have like a brown gunk by the roots aswell ??
im not sure if its the actual roots or if its just gunk.
any ideas????
many thanks
rob

Fish That We Get Along With Discus, Also Some Plants For A Bio Type Aquarium?

I have a 250L tank/ roughly 66 gallons
Dimensions: 48x18x18
I was wandering how many discus at the maximum would be able to live healthily in this size tank.
Also what other types of fishes can i keep with them to create a Bio type aquarium and what types of plants do they like.
And if any one knows of a dealer who sells discus in Australia preferably Queensland please let me know.

First, I need to know what substrate you have, if it is just gravel or sand, you will need to buy some additives so that your plants get adequate nutrients.
As for what types of plants, I would go for swords or anubias to start. They are fast growing and hardy.
Later you may like to try rotala, wisteria or ludwigia.

Plants For A 5 Gallon- Betta And Mystery Snail?

I’m currently cycling my new 5-gallon tank, hoping to combine my betta and snail’s 2.5 gallons together. Before you ask, I know my betta does fine with snails; I’ve successfully kept a mystery snail with my betta in the 2.5 gallon he is in now. And I don’t want to hear that 5 gallons isn’t large enough– I do have a home for the snail if he gets too large, he has been growing fairly quickly since I got him.
Anyway, the new tank has decent lighting, so I decided to start with some low maintenance plants. I know it will make both of the inhabitants happier~
The tank will be heated, and the substrate is medium-sized gravel. Does anyone here have suggestions to fit these conditions? I was hoping to set up the tank with the plants and the snail prior to my betta to make sure it’s completely set up as to not harm him. (I’ve had him for a year, so I’m very attached).
The tank is by a covered window, so I’d be willing to open it to let sunlight in if necessary.
—Could I just buy the liquid aquarium plant “food” and add it to the tank, or is there a better way to give nutrition to my plants?
Thanks!

Aquatic Plants Ok With Large Substrate In Aquarium?

I am no aquarium expert, I am a novice. I have fairly large substrate (probably about the size of dime or penny) about two inches deep. Will rooted plants thrive if i add fertilizer (tetra flora pride). I already added plants and fish so it is too late to change substrate now.
