Question About Java Fern Or Moss In Fish Tank?

I want to put some java fern or moss in my 10 gallon tank but idk if i can put it in there if i clean the tank often. Like bi-weekly.
Will that kill the fern/moss or do i just have to take it out and put it back in when im done cleaning?
Also can the fish eat it and is it harmful to anything besides fish because i have some african dwarf frogs in my tank too?

I have a 10 gallon aquarium right now, with colorful, healthy guppies. I have beautiful plants and black gravel in there, but recently, I have been looking at planted aquariums and I find that moss carpets are beautiful for a fish tank.
However, I’m completely new to this? What moss is best for a carpet? Do I grow it inside the tank or outside? Do I flatten it between two things? I honestly have no idea what the whole “grid” or “sewing” thing is on the guides I look up for this.
If anyone could give me a full guide, with instructions, excact materials, and best moss, I would really appreciate it. I’m clueless about this.

I recently got a huge hand full of java moss for my Betta. I put a small bit in his tank to see how he would like it and then i put the rest in a either 2.5 gallons or 3.5 gallon filter less plastic tank. He loves it! Its been a few days now and I have been doing water changes on the plastic tank. Today i checked on that tank and found a few really really really tiny barely visible what i think are baby fish! they are literally this big [...] I also found baby snails, maybe 8 at the most. but what I would like to know is how to properly care for these baby fish in a plastic none filtered tank. I can possibly get a heater. I doubt they will make it. I saw one laying at the bottom spazzing on its side =[. I dont know how many there are either, there so hard to see! Any advice?
