Hey there this is the second part of the aquarium maintenance series, I made this video for the new salt water hobbyist, using my 20 gallon coral reef tank I covered the basics of the salt water mix, how to add different products such, buffer max from api, stress coat from api, a product called cycle from nutrafin, I used tools like the sand rake, algae scraper, algae cleaner magnet, turkey baster, 5 gallon bucket, Syphon, I also show the way I got my rena XP1 canister filter set up n layers of filtration which way they should go, starting from bottom to top # 1 mechanical ( coarse foam filter pad) , biological ( bio stars, bio rings) and chemical filtration (activated carbon or charcoal,nitrate and ammonia remover.
