How To Convert My 60 Gallon Freshwater Tank To Live Plants?

Hi, I have had a 60 gallon aquarium for about 2 months now and I have noticed looking on youtube that live plants are so much cooler. I would like to convert but have no idea how and how to care for them. I have white sand (nothing special, super naturals) will this be ok? can you please tell me how to do everything, plus what kind of plants are easy and look good. Please also tell me how to care for them once they are in… if you can. THANKS SO MUCH!

Can A Group Of Male Guppies Live Compatibly With Clown Loaches?

I have a 29 gal. high aquarium that is well planted with java fern and anubis. My last fish has died of old age and I would like to put just male guppies in the tank with clown loaches and maybe some cardinals. Does this sound like a good idea?

75 Gallon FOWLR with DIY Live Rock!!!

This is my new 75 Gallon bowfront. With Sump… total water volume is close to 90 gallons. Set up include: Drilled 75 gallon bowfront aquarium, sump, skimmer, refugium with 48 watts of T5 lighting over sump and refugium, 216 watts of T5 lighting for main display tank, koralia pumps, amd many other components in the sump that make up the chemical and mechanical filtration. Livestock includes: Niger Trigger, Sailfin Tang, Yellow Tang, Clownfish, other smaller misc. fish… In the sump I have many different species of macro algae, 40 lbs of live rock filled with pods… main display has lots of snails, hermits, live sand and about 120 pounds of DIY Live Rock I constructed myself with a mixture of portland cement, crushed oyster shell, sand and rock salt. I’m sure I missed a lot but that’s the pretty much the main components. Sump and refugium keeps water crystal clear! My first time using one and WOW what a difference from HOB filters lol.

What Fish Can Bettas Live With?

I have a betta fish in a 1.5 gallon tank (I’m in college and don’t have space) and I was wondering what kind of fish can be housed with them? I was wanting a fish that will somewhat “clean” the tank (before people start saying stuff about cleaning the tank, I clean the entire tank out weekly), like a sucker fish or something. I’ve looked at several sites and they all say something different. :/

How Long Will My Goldfish Live?

Ok so i got 2 goldfish from a friend 2 weeks ago. she didnt want them. she said she got them at walmart. anyway, ivr had them for 2 weeks and i love them to death. they are so cute!! but ive been keeping them in a vase. the vase was pretty wide and tall though. they had a decent amount of room to swim and they had rocks at the bottom. i also fed them twice a day and cleaned their tank every other day. today i decided to get them a better tank. the tank i bought holds 2.65 gallons, has a filter, rocks, and plants in it. i also bought little bottles that clean out the water and keep the fish healthy which was recommended at the pet store. so im wondering how long my fish will live. i love them alot and i really hope they live fairly long.

Can Sucking Loaches Live In A Pond?

We have 2 sucking loaches in a tank with 2 goldfish. We were told by Pets at Home that they would be great to keep the aquarium clean and would get on with other fish. They don’t. Now we’ve had them a little longer, and done more research, we know that they’ll just keep attacking the goldfish the bigger they get.
Can they live in ponds outside? We still want to treat them well obviously, but they can’t stay with the goldfish. It’s a wildlife pond, lots of animal life, and a very good size. I just need to know if they’ll survive out there!
