Will Ich Kill My Goldfish?

So I have two small goldfish each about the size of a quarter in a ten gallon tank, they have a filter and I know that goldfish get big and I have a bigger tank on hand for when they grow. The tank is at my moms and while i was gone at my dads she won two bigger goldfish at the carnival so she put them in the tank. When I came back they all had ich. There is a bunch of white spots all over them. It seems pretty severve. My mom didnt know you cant put that many goldfish in a ten gallon tank. Ik u should put aquarium salt in there but we wont have time to get it for a few days. Is it too late to save them?

How Do I Kill The Parasites In My Aquarium?

I have a 125g set up with 1 silver arowana, 3 polypterus senegalus(bichirs? Idk) and 1 upside-down catfish. My tank has been running smoothly for about 6 months apart from a few nematodes here and there easily eliminated by water changes.. One day i brought a few crayfish home (one if which is still alive and is now pregnant…?)from my local petland to clean the bottom of my tank with a bit more detail(later to provide a snack for my senegalus lol..) the next week an infestation of small parasites grew on the under surface of my tank water.. They are the size of fleas, there are possibly thousands. They are not harming but may be irritating my fish… As well as pissing me off. How can i destroy them?

What Helps Kill Ammonia?

I want to add live rock to my aquarium But I’m afraid the ammonia of the nitrogen cycle will harm my clownfish is there any water conditioners to help reduce it? P.S. I’m going to buy an an actinic tube for the lighting do you think that’s a good idea compared to all the others I could buy

Would This Kill My Guppies?

I have a 10gallon tank with 4 white cloud minnows, 2 ghost shrimp, and some live plants. I do 20% water changes whenever I can, usually once a week.
I recently bought some male guppies to add to the tank and for some reason they keep getting sick one by one and dying. I had 6. I bought 3, waited a week and then bought another 3. Now I am left with half. They look okay, but I don’t want any more to die.
I don’t have an extra tank I can isolate any new fish in, in case they are already sick when I bring them home. And I can’t really afford one at the moment. :(
I have an extra sponge filter, though. Would I be able to maybe keep them in some large clean container with the sponge filter and heater for a week? Or would that just stress and eventually kill them?

Will My Cichlids Kill Eachother?

I have a 55 gallon long vizio aquarium, with 1 green terror, 1 blood parrot cichlid, and 1 yellow fin achi. I just purchased the achi yesterday, and since then, I have discovered the pecking order.
Blood parrot cichlid->Green Terror-> Yellow tail Achi.
Since then I have spotted the blood parrot chasing and trying to nip the green terror (occasionally), and and really both of the trying to nip at the yellow tail achi, more frequently. I also know that the achi is an african cichlid, so im wondering if he will be killed by the two, ir if this will ever settle down. I currently have 2 blue fake plants for cover, which is not much, sine these fish are all active swimmers. They have not been fighting, just slight nipping and chasing. Any suggestions?
If I must I will return the achi tomorrow, for a different kind of fish, so what ever valid advice is offered, I appreciate. Thank you! BTW< the yellow tail achi is a bit smaller in heighth as both of these fish, but geneally, they are all around the same size(4-6 in)

Do They Have Multi-grain Vitamins For Vegetarians That They Didn’t Kill Any Animals To Get?

I am a vegertatian because i love animals so much that i do not wish to kill them for my benefit, however i am not vegan. When i asked my doctor if i need to take vitamins so that i wouldn’t get sick from lack of meat, i guess, she gave me these vitamins that had fish oil in it. I did not realize this until after i took the pill, and then i get mad because i don’t want kill fish just for my health. I would like ot know if they have any vitamins that would be good for my to take that would give me all the things i need ot stay healthy that they do not kill any animals to make the vitamins.

Help! How Do I Kill Freshwater Snails Yet Not My Shrimp In My Aquarium?

I have a delima.
I breed Crystal Red Shrimp aka CRS (freshwater shrimps) that reach a max size of about 1″ inch. I keep absolutly nothing else in a live planted tank (3,000 gallons total in breeding tanks) and have been invaded heavily by freshwater snails that came in on some plants obviously. The problem being I can’t think of anything that is a natural predator to the freshwater snail that won’t also eat my shrimp or especially their babies! As for Chemicals, I have the same delima where I can’t think of what would kill the snails and not my shrimp.
I’ve been feeding heavily in a single area where the snails will swarm and I smash them by hand but they still keep breeding like crazy and are out of control!
p.s. I have several thousands of these shrimp so there are to many to hand pick all out like I would tell someone else in order to first treat the tank, kill the snails then put the shrimp back.
ANY IDEAS ANYONE????
