Well, I know I have to wait for the water to recycle and the nitrogen cycle and everything. I’m going to start with fresh water fish. I do love betas, and I do plan on breeding in the future.
I do want to plant the flowers and have an entire ecosystem. I have had betas before, but only a two galleon tank, which broke after my beta died.
But I really want to put beautiful fresh water aquarium fish in the beginning, and I’m not sure how many fish I can house in a 40 galleon tank. I could get a 75 galleon water tank, but I thought to start out on a forty, because the 75galleon, I want to use for a salt water.
But can you give me names of fish that are good with housing with betas, or any tips on beautiful aquariums for fresh water fish.
I did care for large water aquariums in high school (3 years ago) for my marine biology. I know I must buy some water test, thermometers and other stuff. My preference would be tropical. I don’t like big headed fish, and I don’t want any gold fish. Well any suggestions? Imagine you’re building your own fresh water ecosystem <3
