Need Help With A Fresh Water Fish Tank.?

ok a friend of my mom’s gave me her tank and fish… and they r all really REALLY sick. I have been trying my hardest 2 treat them but it seems like they arnt really gettiung better. So i’ll start with one fish in this question. Its a black angel fish I belive they’re called marbles. He has one eye that is completely white and crusty looking, and he swims around wierdly in the morning when i turn the tank light on. Its like he cant keep up right, I’ve watched this fish do backflips, front flips, twirls and he bumps into everything, and its only in the morning when i wake up, he’ll be fine the night before i shut the light off but its as if the current in the tank is 2 much 4 him to handle in the morning. I’ve been treating the tank 4 close 2 4 months now using all sorts of stuff and not seeing very much progress. right now i’m using Fungus Clear Tank Buddies. some1 plz tell me if i’m doing the right thing or if there is something better i could be doing, i love these fish already they are my insperation when i need it.

How Do I Clean A Smelly Fish Tank?

I think that I’ve been over feeding my fish. The result is a foul smelling tank with decaying food material at the bottom. I have reduced the amount of times I feed the fish to once a day, but I am unsure how to go about cleaning it. Is scooping out the particles and changing some water enough? I have a Penguin BioWheel 125 Power Filter and an in tank corner filter. I don’t want to mess with the power filter, so I don’t destroy the good bacteria. Is it OK to change the carbon and filter floss in the submersible filter? Any smell reducing information is greatly appreciated!

Why Is My Cold Water Fish Tank Gone White Cloudy ?

Hi I got a nice fish tank 60cm x 30cm x 35cm from my friend. I cleaned it when I got it with hot water, then it “sat” in my room for about 4 months. I finally decided to get fish I have: 5x Long-fin Danio and 2x Red Fantail Goldfish and I put 2x Vallisenaria plants (i don’t know the names I have it on my receipt :P ) and a 101F Aqua One Submersible filter (i have an air tube to it so that there is air in the tank). I also have pebbles off the shore xD im on low budget here hehe I put them in an oven to get rid off the bacteria and then I rinsed them off. I used tap water in my tank (the local fish shop person said it will be fine) I didn’t do any special filtration cycles with special liquids or measure the PH in the water (budget). The water was clear until a day after I put the fish in the tank… The filter is good 350l/h so I don’t know whats wrong. The water is sort of cloudy white colour, I read on the web about bloom and stuff but I don’t quite understand it :( Can anyone help ??? It would be really nice :D

Is It Okay To Eat “refrozen” Fish Sticks?

I know this is a weird question, but I bought a box of fish sticks home from the grocery and forgot to put them in the freezer and they thawed overnight. I put them back in the freezer the next day and now they are frozen but am unsure if it is okay to eat them. They sat out all night and I don’t want to get sick.

Sea Nettle Jelly Fish – Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies

This is actually a (teaser) video because I’m working on a much longer video from the Ripleys Aquarium we visited while vacationing in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. I love these Sea Nettle Jelly Fish so much and they are awesome to watch as they move along that I felt I would make a video of just the Sea Nettle Jelly Fish.. A little info on Sea Nettle Jelly Fish: The stinging sea nettle (Chrysaora) is a genus of particularly large true sea jellies (Scyphozoans). The name may refer to the Atlantic sea nettle or East Coast sea nettle (Chrysaora quinquecirrha), a species of sea nettle that inhabits particularly Atlantic estuaries. The name sea nettle may also refer to the Pacific sea nettle or West Coast sea nettle (Chrysaora fuscescens) (pictured to the right), another related species that is endemic to the Northeast Pacific Ocean. It is a common coastal species found along the west coast of North America from California to Alaska. The Atlantic sea nettle is a bell-shaped invertebrate, usually semi-transparent and with small, white dots and reddish-brown stripes. Sea nettles without stripes have a bell that appears white or opaque. The nettle’s sting is rated from “moderate” to “severe” and can be pernicious to smaller prey; it is not, however, potent enough to cause human death, except by allergic reaction. While the sting is not particularly harmful, it can cause moderate discomfort to any individual stung. The sting can be effectively neutralized by misting vinegar over the
