Last summer I went with my family on vacation in Hawaii and we went to visit the aquarium one day. After all that walking, I decided to take a break on the bench. I don’t know if I dozed off and if this part was really some vivid dream, but when I got off the bench, I decided to go and see more of the sea creatures.
I then felt that something was just not right, and noticed that all the sea creatures there just seemed to be watching me, but then thought that I was just being paranoid. I went where I could get a top view of one of the larger tanks that held many types of fish, when I felt a tentacle grab my ankle and pull me into the water.
The next thing I knew, I was tied up in an underwater chair while wearing a diving mask and a snorkel that extended above the surface of the water. I then saw a Tiger Shark wearing sunglasses swim in my direction and then he just sat in a chair, but he didn’t die. He then went on to say that he has tried to classify humans and claimed to find out that humans are not really mammals. He said that all mammals, including Monk Seals & Humpback Whales, instinctively develop a natural equilibrium with their surrounding environment, but humans don’t, but instead multiply until all the natural resources are consumed and survive by spreading. He said that humans follow the pattern of a virus or a cancer, and said that sea creatures were the cure.
He told the other fish to leave, and confessed that he hated being trapped in the aquarium, and desperately told me that there was someone that there was a human larva who needed to be brought into the tank that the shark needed to destroy, and he made me leave the tank to find her. I was so confused that I went back to the bench. If this was a dream, then this was where I woke up, I went to tell my family what happened, and they just laughed at me.
Does life in the aquarium really make the sea creatures delirious? Was I just dreaming all that?
