Can someone tell me exactly how many gallons of water can an item of certain size holed, conversion please…?

I Have a fish tank that is old, and was given to me by my grandmother. I do not know exactly how much water it can hold. I can tell you the measurements of the empty space that would contain the water. Can someone please help me…. Height is 14inches, width is 24 inches, and depth is 12 inches. Please can someone convert this for me. My girlfriend filled it with water already and she is not sure neither am I and before adding any chemicals I want to make sure exactly how much I need to add depending on the size of the tank….. thanks in advance….. I have one male Betta(about a year old) that has stopped eating, rarely moves around and lays at the bottom of the tank. When he does move, he seems to have trouble keeping balanced or will float on one side or just float to the bottom without moving fins or do a nose dive into the gravel. I noticed him spazing out a few times when he is at the surface. He also seems to be breathing heavily. I’ve done a 70% water change, added aquarium salt, coppersafe and one tablet of tetracycline (just started tetracycline treatment today and will complete) as I’m not sure if it’s a parasite, bacteria, or both. Also, the carbon has been removed from filter so the meds aren’t removed from tank. I’m not sure if I’m going about this the right way as I have no clue what could be wrong/what I’m dealing with. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Specs: kept in a 10 gal. tank (not a community tank) with power filter kept on lowest setting possible, with heater, feeding (or fed, rather) freeze dried bloodworms.

I have these fishes in my fish tank from more than 2 months ;-
1 Bala Shark
1 Zebra Angel (silver)
3 Goldfish – ( 1 Fantails, 1 Comet, 1 Black Moor )
4 Head and Tail Light Tetra

I already know that angel fish not compatible with goldfish , but my question is about the scientific and detailed clue for incompatibility and why my angel fish and my goldfishes doesn’t attack each other at all ?
(Only the comet goldenfish attack some times the fantails which is compatible with each other as I know)

I saw my all fishes in healthy, active and comfortable all the time. So where is the incompatibility ?

i try to read up on cycling tanks, but they use big words and go on about the science of it all. i’m getting a used fish tank tomorrow off craigslist. i want to know exactly what i have to do to transfer my fish from my other tank, and how to fill it and such.

I need to know how many times and when do you change the water.

My heater is the one that is always stuck at 25C or 77F.

And how much aquarium salt do I need to put in?

Btw I have 8 fish in a 10 gallon tank (with a filter) and my female platy has one white dot on his tail fin.

So what should I do Ich experts?

I have been a nanny for 7 years and I just recently stopped working for a family. They moved and I could not relocate anyway I want to post an ad for my services but I want to make sure I say everything the right way. Any suggestions???? PLEASE!!! I do everything in the home, I am basically the MOM when mom is not there. I do laundry, cook, clean, take the kids on trips to the library,zoo,aquarium…. I do story time. My daughter and the little girl I watched were both 2 and they were potty trained but 24 months of age. Both knew how to count to 20 and they knew their colors. My daughter knows my name and my address as well. I’m not just some teenage babysitter, I honestly take time with these children.

1 gallon = Litter, how many? I used a converter on my mobile phone and it said that 30 gallons is something like 117 litters and I find this insane it must be wrong or is it not?
