What algae eaters would be compatible for 2 common goldfish in a 75 gallon tank?

I just picked up a 75 gallon tank. I have two goldfish that I want to move in there. I was thinking of Dojo Loaches. I like how they look and I like what I’ve read about their personality. Although I have only been able to find a few sites that said they were compatible with common goldfish. Would this work out between the two species? The only problem is I really want a fish that will eat algae not only on the bottom but off the glass, any suggestions?

What other algea eaters are there besides a pleco?

I recently bought a Rubberlip pleco at Pets Smart, last sunday actually. And today this morning, I found it sitting there, it seemed normal because he always did that, but this time, he was not moving his mout, or breathing, so I took it out, and it was dead! What happened? Was he sick, did he not eat? I fed everynight a algea wafer, I put it as close to him as possible. Also, if I go return it at petsmart, should I get another rubberlip pleco? I have heard plp who do this, and their next one still dies, so Im scared this is going to happen to me. ALso his color was darkish, at the store, there where some that were pale-er.
Anyways, all my other fish are doing fine, a month ago, I got a opaline gourami and 5 gold barbs, wich seem ok, swim around happily. When I bought the pleco, I also got 3 Albino corydora catfish, wich swim all over the place, and look healthy and not dead!! I chekced my water, it seems like everything is in good shape, the PH is a little high, I think, its 7.6.
Anyways, I have a 55 gallon tank, with 1 blue and 1 opaline gourami, 5 gold barbs, 3 cory’s and used to have a pleco. 2 Heaters, 2 Filters, did water change bearly tuesday.

So Im asking, is there any other type of fish that eats algea? I have heard there is this one catfish (pictus catfish maybe?) But Im not so sure. And Im not sure if there compatible with my fish.
So im pretty much looking for another substitute for a Pleco, since Im scared another one is going to die..
PLz, help appreciated, If you can, tell me other algea eaters, that are compatible with my fish and that will not overstock my tank… (not chinese algea eaters, heard they dont eat algea as adults)
Oh, and will petsmart just replace my pleco for another, or can I get a different fish (same price or pay price difference)
Thanks!!!

Tankmates that will help cull guppy population..fry eaters maybe?

I had a lady give me an awfully kept 25 gal. freshwater aquarium a week or two ago, and it came with a population of one pleco and about 25 guppies.
Right now, everybody is getting along famously without being crowded, but I’m afraid that once they start breeding then I’ll be overwhelmed. They were near death when I got them, but since they’re bouncing back, I’m just waiting for that first batch of babies to show up!!

Are there any tankmates I could add that might help me keep the guppy numbers down, by eating fry, or something like that? I don’t really want the adults to get eaten, but surely there’s fish out there that would gobble up fry without checking out their tankmates for dessert!

Would tiger barbs or something work?

I know my tank is probably at max capacity right now, happy as everyone may look, so I really cringe at the idea of 20 babies growing up in there!!!

Any help?
Also, I live in a dorm where the max for an aquarium is 25 gallons. Otherwise, I’d have another aquarium with a fish that eats live fish =)

Invertebrate eaters?

Will any of these fishes try eat a blood red fire shrimp, hermit crabs, star fish, or clams?

Magnificent Foxface
Copperband Butterflyfish
Raccoon Butterflyfish
Teardrop Butterflyfish
Falcula Butterflyfish
Golden Semilarvatus Butterflyfish
Blue/Green Reef Chromis
Ocellaris Clownfish
Green Mandarin Goby
Spotted Mandarin Goby
Yellow Tang
Blue Hippo Tang
Six Line Wrasse
Longfin Fairy Wrasse

I know the butterflys will try to eat the corals so doing a reef tank will be out of the question. Really want to do a reef tank but can’t have the butterfly eating at my money through corals. Also are all these fishes compatible with each other…I’m planning on having at least a 200 gallon setup.
Are there any corals that I may be able to have in the tank despite the butterflys?

how long does it take 10 gold fish 5 algea eaters and 5 angel fish to die in a 29 gallon tank?

Im guessing the angles are gonna die first followed by the algae eaters and goldfish to die of super high nitrate levels
yes well im really tired i would like to change the water once ina while and get some more tanks for the goldfish but some one in the back wont let me change the water no more saying “if you change the water the fish will die” this is actually a bet i would have no intention but im just sick of it i rather just have them die and end there misery plus where do u think petstore goldfish go? into a nice pond with evrything they need? nah theyll be more likely to be stuck in a 10 gallon or a goldfishbowl just newly set up to suffer in a bacteria bloom and water quality
the tanks been well established for over 20 years i think the ammonia or nitrite wont be the cuase its more of nitrate.

Labor-Free Aquarium Algae Cleaning by using algae eaters

Artificial Coral Reef Aquarium Inserts are easy to maintain. Labor-Free algae cleaning by marine snails Labor-free algae cleaning by using algae eaters. For example: In saltwater tanks, marine snails crawl, algae is cleaned. Keeping snails at a rate of one snail per 10 gallons of water is sufficient enough. Astrea Snails, Margarita Snails are good candidates. In freshwater tanks, plecos and catfish are good candidates

Are there any algae eaters that don’t need a heater and can go in a 10g goldfish tank?

And yes, I only have one goldfish in there and don’t plan on getting anymore. I know he needs his space, but I want to get an algae eater to help keep the tank clean. I know they are tropical fish but are there any that don’t require tropical temperatures?

Also, how often should I do a 25% water change and a complete water change? I have a filter.
