New 3-D Aquarium Backgrounds from Denmark

New 3-D aquarium backgrounds made in Denmark. These amazing aquascape are breathtaking but very expensive to import. These are not currently carried in the US but we are going to start importing them. Molded from foam polymer and hand painted. These backgrounds are especially nice for African Cichlid and planted aquariums and many in Europe silicone the background a few inches off the back of the tank and use that space for custom filtration. Filmed at the Global Pet Expo in Orlando, FL 2010.

AQUA Freshwater Aquarium, Denmark

Denmark’s AQUA is the largest freshwater aquarium in Europe. It’s unique galleries include artificial lakes with side viewing glasses, which simulate typical lake ecosystems in Denmark. This video serves as a guide of common European freshwater fish species that are found at AQUA. Four different environments are featured, including a polluted lake, a healthy lake, a typical Danish stream and the night environment.
