Are There Gerbil Cages That Can Blend Into House Decor?

I’m looking for an attractive and effective gerbil cage. I want it to look like a furniture piece so I won’t have a prison sitting on my shelf made of wire or escapable plastic. I’ve fully researched gerbils and I understand the pros and cons of a cage vs. an aquarium. I’m leaning towards the aquarium due to the many extension possibilities to ensure a happy habitat for the gerbil. Is there a cage out there that looks halfway decent and more sophisticated than prison bars and plastic tubes? I like the aquarium but can there be a wooden stand or frame for it to rest on and still be able to be placed on a table or shelf? Can you send me ideas of good cages that are ideal in safety for the gerbil and is attractive to the eye? Thanx.

is it algae, fish poo, what? i have a 20 gallon filter on a 10 gallon tank. i have one green plant, a log with three plants attached, two rocks propped up, sand, and a flower pot, and this stuff is on everything how do i get it off? im keeping up on cleaning with a gravel vacume every other day. i dont wash the plants due to bacterial growth. what the heck is this im over filtering and everything.

I bought a fake, neon cave, and when I cleaned my tank to let my new DIY filter cycle, I put in the new cave. Some of the paint came off in the water, making me think it is not safe for the fish. So I want to make my own cave but I want it to be big enough for a medium sized goldfish. I also want ALL the ideas one could think of for DIY aquarium decor, from fake plants, to caves, to little signs that say “your not in kansas anymore” and what not. thanks
