My Brothers Fish Tank Is Very Cloudy Even Though It’s Just Been Cleaned And One Of The Fish Seems To Be Sick?

We’ve had this fish tank for about 2 months now- it’s about 100 litres. We have 7 tetra neons, 1 bristle-nosed catfish, 1 dwarf gourami and 2 congo tetras. We found out that the ammonia levels were too high in the tank but we managed to greatly reduce those levels since. But now the tank is really cloudy, even though the catfish seems to be cleaning a lot. And the dwarf gourami appears to be ill. He is usually a very active (and crazy:) fish but when the water looks like that he hides in a log and stays there. My brother cleaned it out yesterday and replaced 20% of the water and the gourami became his usual active self. But now the tank is all dirty again. WHat should we do about it?

Why Is My Aquarium Water Have Very Fine Particles In It Making It Cloudy?

Ok first off i have a 20 g long tank with pretty much max number of fish. So first off i didnt have a filter big enough for my tank. I moved my tank away from the window and i left the windows shades open and with direct sunlight on it :/ i know but maybe that was my problem? Anyways i purched a bigger filter one thats might be my culprit. i have a marine land pegiun 200 bio wheel (meant for 30-50 g tanks) and it produces a strong current witch might be stirring up things. i do water changes. like 20% every two week its been bought a week sense last water change. (i used a gravel vac) i tried water clairier and it didnt work.
My water isnt green or brown. its clean with very fine particles in and around everywhere (its floating on top also) i thought maybe too much arietion but i cut it off for a night and it didnt work. Dont tell me to wait this out its been 3 months of this. i need expert help

My Leopard Gecko Has A Cloudy Eye?

Recently my leopard gecko Timmy has been keeping one of his eyes closed. While cleaning his cage today, he had it open and I noticed something funny about it. When I got a closer look I noticed it had a light whitish-greyish fog over it. It wasn’t thick enough that you couldn’t see his iris/cornea but there definitely was a big difference between that one and the other.
One thing I’ve also noticed is, yes he’s normally a bit feisty unlike my oldest one(who’s now passed on) that was extremely calm, but lately he’s been REALLY squeamish and bit me hard enough that I bled. I assume this may be due to him not having full vision and becoming more scared and alert.
About a year ago, my 3rd gecko died from getting that moulding sand in her eyes and the vet tried her best but couldn’t manage to open them and she finally died with blood kind of splattered around her face(it wasn’t pretty and I feel so bad that she went through that).
Information
Male Leopard Gecko – Slightly larger than average size
About 5 or so years old
In his Aquarium – A log hiding space, news paper flooring, a small shedding box(dark top, clear bottom) filled with moist vermiculite , a few thermometers, a water dish, a food dish, and a day and night lamp.
He’s fed crickets(not powdered with calcium, but will start) and meal worms(just starting to powder them). I don’t pay attention to when he drinks water but I do make sure he has it everyday.
He’s defecating regularly and he has a fat tail. His shedding is spaced between about 3 or 4 weeks and I never find it so I assume he eats it.
So, the end question is what it is, and how can I fix it? Home solutions would be nice, seeing as we are VERY tight on money and the vet would be costly(though we will if we need to.)

Why Are All My Goldfish Dying? Tank Smells, Water Cloudy.?

50 gallon tank. 15 small goldfish. Water is cloudy and smelly after only three days of having fish. Fish are all at the bottom of the tank in small groups and lifeless. Over 1/2 the fish have now died. Had this same problem in August … couldn’t figure it out, took tank down after all the fish died (23 of them in a three day period after having tank for over a year). Have since cleaned everything. Things seemed great. Water is from a private well. What’s up?

Can You Help With A Cloudy Freshwater Aquarium?

Ok, I have a 10 gallon freshwater aquarium, not too many fish, using the appropriate size filter, heater, etc. The tank was crystal clear for the first 2 months, then in the past week has gone really green cloudy. The temperature is fine, I changed out 3 gallons of water a week ago, then again 2 gallons tonight. Using the anti-cloudy drops from the fish store and everything. Any suggestions?

Why Does My Fish Tank Get Cloudy After Water Changes?

My fish tank is under populated, cleaned regularly, all chemical levels are testing safe (ammonia, chlorine/ chloramine, nitrate/ nitrite, pH, etc) and yet about a day after each water change my tank stays cloudy for about a day or two. This means a cloudy tank every week and can’t be good for my babies! I use aquarium salts, Top Fin water conditioner, and Amquell plus during my water changes (we have high chloramine levels in our water here and that doesn’t evaporate out with aging the water first.)

Why Is The Water In My New Tank Still Cloudy After 1 Week??!!?

i set up a smallish tank about a week ago to put cichlids in when i clean out their main tank and to also use as a place to raise baby cichlids when they are born, but the water in the tank is still cloudy. ive had everything running full blast for a week and nothing has changed. i have silica sand substrate and a few rocks but i dont think they are the main cause. there is also some scum on the surface of the water. what has happened? will it be ready to introduce fish?
thanks, sam :D
