I Cleaned My Fish Tank, And Now All The Fish Seem To Go Towards The Surface, And Some Float To The Top?

I don’t know why, I kept them in a temporary fish tank and when I put them back into the original one, they all seem to have a problem

My New Male Betta Won’t Blow Bubbles After I Cleaned The Tank And The Female Now Is So Full Of Eggs She Has?

Stretch marks that are starting to get bloody. There is only one major pet store in my town. Petsmart. I don’t know what to do with the female. Should I sell her? She has successfully mated before and this is her second time being full of eggs. If anyone lives close to Merced tell me some fish stores around there or of you can help me. She is healthy and a strong swimmer (normally). Please list some good aquarium salt brands or stress enzymes I can use to help her. I have bred bettas before, but I still am searching for the best way without going over the the top in expenses. Any non-strong current filters? I can only find 1-5 gallon ones that are not that strong when releasing the water. If you can find any big male bettas in a pet store that are blowing a whole bunch of bubbles, tell me because the male I have right now was from my parents as a birthday present and they know how to search for a healthy fish, but not for one that’ll breed well. Thanks in advance to good answers, but please answer quick, but still give good answers and no answers that have a cuss word in it please. :) (:)

Haven’t Cleaned Fish Tank In Awhile…just Wondering…?

Yes i’m probably a horrible fish keeper but i really care for my fish as much as possible.
Anyways, i have a betta fish that is in a 10 gallon tank (he’s spoiled) and i’ve had him for over a year now :) i have a couple questions.
main question:
I used to do water changes weekly, or if anything every other week (about 20% water change)
Well i haven’t been doing it recently, my last one i think was about a month ago.
He seems fine, but i’m not sure.
I’m just wondering, is it really bad that i haven’t cleaned his fish tank for awhile? I know it’s bad, but i have a pretty good filter. I’m going away on a trip so i was thinking of doing a little water change before i leave.
Other question: My betta fish is really…really…really…mean lol. He attacks a lot of things. I know some betta fish can get along with community fish and stuff. But i was wondering if anyone has suggestions for a companion i could get him? Or do you think he’s fine by himself? Is he really okay in isolation like that? lol idk, i guess if i was him i’d be a little lonely.
This might sound silly but i change the outside of the surroundings so he has different things to look at lol

Goldfish Got Very Sick Because I Cleaned His Tank ”help”?

ok. this might be a bit of a sissy story but these 2 goldfish i have mean a lot to me and hold a great deal of sentimental value. too keep the story short ill get right to the details. it is a 20 gal tall tank. 40gpa filter with 3 types of filter thingies in it. i normally change 20% of the water every 2 weeks. the tank does stay ”or so i thought” pretty clean. once a month i would scrub the glass because of algae build up. but nothing crazy. there fake plants and 2 caves get a coating of algae on it too. about 2 months ago i did a super clean. i pulled all the caves, plants, and rocks out of the tank. i cleaned the rocks and put them back in. i did the same with everything else. while doing the the water seemed very dirty but it cleared up in an hour or so once i was done. the fish where fine before and after that. well this time ”2 months later from the last time” i did the same thing. but i put new rocks in. yes i cleaned the rocks. anyways i am now reading what a really bad idea this is to do to there tank. i feel like crap now knowing i may have really hurt my 2 fish. before this cleaning they where fine. they seem to be great friends as well. the follow each other everywhere, they play and they seem to sleep together too. they eat like a horse. i do not over feed them but they make sure there is no left overs and there always looking for more. lol. anyways after this last cleaning ”a few days ago” things seem to have gotten really bad. i noticed the next morning they where both in the same corner on the bottom just sitting there. not moving. they seemed to have clamped up with there fins as well. the next day i noticed there eyes getting cloudy and they really did not move around much. i fed them and they eat if it floated past them but they really didn’t move to get much food. so i went online to figure out what i did wrong. i learned a lot and i hope it does not cost me these to fish.
i did some water testing.
when i started i got these readings
nitrate 200 ”unsafe”
nitrite 5.0 ”danger”
hardness 300 ”very hard”
chlorine 0 ”safe”
alkalinity 300 ”high”
PH 8.4 ”aklaline”
i read online i had a serious issue. so i started to research. i did a few 20% water changes ”spring water only” over a 48 hour period replacing around 50/60% of the water in the tank. the tank is 24 hours old with no new water changes. my new readings are
nitrate 40 ”safe”
nitrite 0 ”safe”
total hardness 150 ”hard”
chlorine 0 ”safe”
alkalinity 180 ”ideal”
PH 7.8 ”alkaline
i also went to a pet store and got some aquarium salt, and melafix ”antibacterial fish remedy. i added both recommended amounts in the tank and that was it. i woke up today and went to feed them and now today they did not eat a thing. they have been swimming around but i feel like something is still wrong. this mornings symptoms are
clammed up
cloudy eyes
slow
basically the same as yesterday too. just not eating.
please can anyone tell me what i caused my fish in harm and how can i fix this and thank you for your time.

My Husband Cleaned The Fish Pond, Now All The Fish Are Looking Are Very Sick!!!! Help!!?

We have a make-shift fish pond made out of a child’s wading pool in our backyard with about 12 fish in it which are mainly goldfish and koi. The koi are quite large.
The pond they were in started getting green from algae so my husband cleaned out a large plastic rubbish bin and started putting the fish in that (with the water that was in the pond, not fresh water). That was about 2 hours ago. Now he has finished cleaning the pond and has noticed that the large koi are starting to look sick like they are about to die. What could have caused this and is there anything we can do to make them survive???
BTW, the bin was just to hold them in until the pond is clean and we can put them back, not permanent.

I Cleaned The Fish Tank With A Brush I Thought Was Clean. Apparently Someone Had Used Soap On It. It Foamed Up?

……so I removed gallons out and washed the filter and pump. I am trying to let the water recycle and have put chemical balance in for tap water. The fish are vertical, and coming up to the top for air, I don’t know what else to do. 2 fish, 10 gallon tank. Black skirted Tetras.
