I am not positive, but i looked it up on the internet and that is what i have concluded. We don’t know who brought it in or where it came from. I was thinking of taking it home and caring for it myself instead of allowing some ignorant family take it home because ‘it looks cool.’ I have 2 aquariums, a 20 gallon and a 10 gallon. The 20 contains gouramis, congo tetras, bala sharks, albino clawed frogs, 2 plecostamus, and a striped peacock eel. Would this be suitable living conditions for him?
I am aware of the overwhelming size that the balas, frogs, and plecos will reach but my intentions were always to trade them in before they reached too big of a size. They are still small enough that I’m not having any problems and I bought them all small from the start.. The fish at the store is bigger than the other tetras and is about 2 inches long, so I don’t see him being at risk for being eaten.
