What’s swims below the surface? Caribbean sea life.

In most places the water is clear and warm with a veriety of friendly tropical fish waiting for you. Snorkeling in the Caribbean is a 5 star family affair.

Heaven Above, Heaven Below – That’s Sunny Pattaya

When you’ve had your fill of the frenetic pace of Bangkok’s street markets, luxury malls and bustling walkways and crave the peace and tranquility of a beach paradise, Pattaya is the last place you should consider. If hoping from jet-ski to surf-board, partying until dawn and fountains of Mai-Tai are more your style, make a beeline to this tropical cove about 135 kilometers south of the capital.

Located in the Chonburi Province of peninsular Thailand, Pattaya rose to fame during the Vietnam War as the troops’ preferred furlough destination. Today, Pattaya boasts of being home to every Five Star Hotel Chain, Fast Food Franchise and entertainment option in the world.

It seems that in Thailand, most all roads lead to Pattaya, so getting there is never a problem. 2 hours from Bangkok by road, or half a day’s drive from Koh Samui, an impulse trip will serve you as well as a well-planned vacation.

Once there, the abilities to haggle and experiment are your best tools to explore the Bay. Start your day with a tour through the Underwater Aquarium of this Coral Island or have breakfast with the inhabitants of the Pattaya Crocodile Farm. Stop by endless lines of street-food stalls for a quick lunch where you can sample every imaginable meat, fruit and sea-creature, grilled on a stick. Spend a lazy afternoon by the pool or slice across the surf on jet-skis hired by the hour, or strap yourself to a power boat as you Para-sail the length of the cove over Hat Jomtien, Hat Wong Phrachan, Ko Lan, Ko Sak, Ko Phai and Pattaya beaches.

But make sure you conserve your energy for the night though, because that’s when Pattaya really comes alive. Much like the Vegas strip, the city takes on an entirely different avatar after sunset. Straw hats and roller-bladers make way for throbbing strobe lights, psychedelic discotheques, live bands, casinos, fine dining and gaming arcades where the lights stay on well after the sun comes up.

Open your mind to the possibilities that Pattaya has to offer and you might just find yourself returning often to this beach resort which switches from whimsical to exotic in the span of a heartbeat.

Lined up with exotic beaches and islands like Pattaya Beach, Hat Jomtien, Hat Wong Phrachan, Ko Lan, Ko Sak, Ko Phai, Pattaya boasts the unique distinction of a beach resort with a city status. Whereas most other beach resorts rely simply on natural surroundings for their charm, Pattaya makes an all-out attempt to provide the best of everything in an exhaustive mix of facilities.

The sketch below shows the framework of a shadecloth shelter which is erected over a right circular ?

cylindrical tank
in which fish are being bred. The tank has diameter 4 m and depth 112

The vertical supporting poles for the framework are 2 m long, and the length of each of the sides of the roof of the

28.1 How many litres of water are in the tank, if it is always kept 2/3
full?
(Leave the answer in terms of π .)
[Hint: Volume of cylinder = πr2h where r is the radius and h the height.]

28.2 Suppose that the inside of the tank (including the base) is painted with a waterproof paint that costs R20 per
litre, and 4/5
of a litre is used for every square metre. How much does it cost to paint the tank? (Leave the
answer in terms of π .)

28.3 Suppose the shelter has shadecloth over the top and around all four sides. How many square meters of
shadecloth must be provided?
28.4 Suppose a bigger tank must be built underneath the same shelter. Two options are considered. For tank 1
the radius of the given tank is increased by 1/2
m; for tank 2 the height of the given tank is increased by 1/2
m.
Which is the better option? Explain your answer.

turing my extra 20 gallon into a nano reef tank please read below, 10 points to best answer?

so i have a 20 gallon tank that i still have running with just a pair of angelfish i dont really want anymore, so i will either be moving them to one of my other tanks, or putting them in as store trade at my local pet store. i want to make it a salt water nano reef. i have a 30 gallon marineland filter, a 100w heater, and a 20 gallon power head,

i know for sure that i will be buying:

1. fiji live rock
2. fiji live sand
3. pair of clowns
4. some easy corals i dont have the names but my pet store that is very trust-worthy has a few.
5.a hydrometer
6. test kits
7. salt mix
8. if i can find one small enough a protein skimmer
9. a cleaner crew, some hermit crabs, and other small invertes.

So what else would i need? i know nano reefs are very hard to keep, and costly, but i am willing to work with it.

i have plenty of time to take care of the tank, i already have 5 hours a week devoted to my freshwater fish. and am willing to put in any other time needed.

the cost is something i can work with, i dont always have a lot of money but i am starting with very basic non expensive stuff, and moving up in quality and supplies. i will be running into 300 extra dollars soon, that will be stricktly to my saltwater fund.

I also know i will need special lighting to grow corals, so i was thinking T2 lighting to save some cash, but COULD i just get 2 10,000K bulbs and put them in my old light fixture,

how many watts a gallon again?

sorry guys im a noob in saltwater.

but i really want this to work out for me i have done some research over the months. please help me

i dont want a lecture saying im stupid and cant do this
