My aquarium water ph is below 6.4 what should i do?

Question by Aline: My aquarium water ph is below 6.4 what should i do?
I have a 36 gallons fish tank and i am having a problem with my water ph and alkalinity. I’ve been with this tank for 3 months now and I am always with the same problem. The water ph is below 6.4 and the alkalinity is almost 0. I bought two products “Ph Up” and “Ph down” and since I thought that my ph was low I applied the ph up product but now it seems that the water ph is even lower. Was I wrong? Should I put the ph down one? What can I do to balance my water? Please help some of my fish have already died. Thanks

I don’t know what to tell you… The pH up should have helped. Make sure you put in the proper doses for your tank size, although constantly trying to chang the pH is stressful for the fish.Try leaving the pH at 6.4, its most likely NOT killing your fish, the constant changes of pH are.Putting in driftwood will help gradually stabilize the pH levels. Check out the site below about driftwood.

What Coral Can I Keep In My 3 Month Old 29 Gall Bio Cube? Lighting Specs Below Thanks If You Answer?-revised?

3 months old fully cycled current stock (getting rid of fish to start new trading them in for coral and two ocellaris) 1 pulsing xeona, 1 anemone I got it for only 10$ it was said to be really hardy and had clowns in the tank with it it has 5in long tentacles when it is completly inflated orit has them all tuccked inside the body it changes at random times it eats silversides on time a day. Here are the lighting specs
Two coralife compact fluorescent lamps
1-3 watt 10,000k
1-36 watt true actinic 03
Lunar Blue, Moon Glow LED lights
It is a bio cube 29 and has three different lights a white light kind of thing, a blue light, and a moon light I have no idea how to keep them all on I normally do the two main lights all day and the weaker moon light at night but power is no issue tell me the best light cycle to put it on for these corals please.
1 Forgspawn
1 Torch Coral
polyps
mushrooms
bubble tip anemone (i know corals and anemones sting each other they will all be placed far away from each other near the top of the tank with the most lighting.)
1 open brain coral
also two ocellaris clownfish and a yellow watchman goby.
does this sound ok? I dont want or care if they grow fast I just want to know if they will live in the tank and not be sickly and will feed food if needed. Please answer my question don’t rant like most uptight aquarium people answer the question please thanks

How do I keep water temperature below 85 degrees? (10 points)?

Listen, I do NOT have a tank heater. I have a 5.5 gallon fish tank with 5 zebra danios. Don’t worry I will be moving them to a 14 gallon fish tank soon. Anyway the fish tank is not near a window, I do not leave the tank lights on, and I feel the fish tank water, and it feels pretty cool. I have 2 submersible thermometers and a sticker one, and they all read 84-86 degrees. I know danios are pretty hardy fish do I am not that concerned, but when I get the 14 gallon fish tank and add tank mates, they might get all fried. What do I do? Would I have to add cold water regularly? Thanks in advance!

I may need to convert my tank to brackish water; please read details below.?

Hello. I have three green spotted puffers, 2 tiger barbs, 2 plecos, a koi, and some other fresh water fish. The problem is that the puffers need true brackish water and the water I have is fresh. On a side note, the puffers are becoming progressively blacker and less bright, which i know can’t be good. I should mention all the other fish look healthy (aside from the puffers), and all the fish including the puffers have a great appetite. The issue is simple, I need to correct the puffers health by changing the water. The problem is, I need to make the salinity content in my water suitable for all my fish. I have read that green spotted puffers need more than just aquarium salt to live comfortably; they need marine salt. Please do not suggest get another tank as there is ABSOLUTELY no way for me to do that. Thank you
I said, Anne be sure to tuck and roll!

HEY IF YOU COULD PLEASE ANSWER MY BELOW QUESTION IT WOULD BE GREAT P.S. IM NEW AT THIS SIGHT :D?

okay so my 3 fish and 1 frog used to be in a 1 gallon tank until last week when i put them in a 10 gallon tank. dont worry i was very cautious with the temperatures so i wouldnt shock or kill my fish and frog. anyways i have 2 silver dollar tetras (one male one female) an albino cory catfish and an african frog but you see i dont know if its a dwarf or a clawed frog and yes it does have claws on its back 3 inner toes but my frog is tiny. but my question is why my albino cory catfish always follows my frog around . unless my frog is on my water level filter my catfish is always there by its side . is that normal ? and my female silver dollar tetra always follows around my male silver dollar tetra now i can see how that can be normal but the other one i just think is plain weird please tell me if its normal or not and thank you so much .
