Why Does My Fish Aquarium Background Show Up Black ?

its a 2 day old tank , i want to know what i could do to make the background show up it has pictures on the background but it shows up Black ? its a bit foggy but i cleaned everything good the colored rocks (rainbow) and the filter , heater , & the tank itself i think its due to the cycle , but what i would like to know is if its because the water is a tad foggy ; what could i do to make it show up ?
