Me, and some of my friends are going to take a day trip to Atlanta, and i was born in the area, but it was so long ago i don’t remember much about riding the MARTA. We were a little concerned with having to find parking all over the city, since we will be doing multiple different things. We plan on getting on the MARTA rail up around Doraville, and riding down the orange northeast line, to peachtree, and vising the aquarium and Olympic park. We were also going to visit georgia state via the blue/green lines. We also had plans to go see piedmont park in midtown, and lastly to ride the north trains back up to buckhead/lenox area for some shopping in the lenox square mall. What i’m wondering, is about safety. Will riding the MARTA through those areas be safe for teenage kids? And what kind of neighborhoods will we be riding in?
