What Are Some Things To Do In Atlanta For 13 Year Old Girls?

Me and 4 other girls are (possibly) going to Atlanta this summer for June 10th and 11th. We will be staying in a hotel and it’s a sleepover for one of our birthdays.
We are probably seeing the Georgia Aquarium, the Pine Mountain Wild Animal Park, and the Coke Factory. Any other ideas in addition to these or in case these don’t work out?
Thanks!

Cost Of Wedding At Atlanta, Ga Aquarium?

What To Do In Atlanta?

I was going to go to a concert with my best friend tomorrow night, we were going to buy tickets at the door but I looked today and it was unexpectedly sold out. Because of a lot of stuff going on, he’s been incredibly bummed out lately, especially today, so I haven’t had the heart to tell him that we’re not going to be able to go, at least until I find a good alternative. I’m in Gwinnett, so anything here or downtown would work. I don’t want to do the aquarium or World of Coke, and museums are also out. Nothing too expensive – any ideas?

I’m So Bored In Atlanta?

there is nothing to do, and i have no idea where all the hot girls are. i’m in my mid-20s, and i’ve been to 14 countries (Spain, Greece, Australia, Japan, etc.). I’ve scuba dived, skydived, hiked mountains, skiied, surfed, and have had gratuitous sex. I’ve been on high salaries (70k) and on peanus (20k). i’m bored. realllly bored. i’ve been to the coke museum, and i’ve swum in the georgia aquarium.

Atlanta: City of Personality

If you’re looking to move to an interesting city with a ton of history and personality, take the time to look into Atlanta. The bustling city of Atlanta has a plethora of great attractions for the whole family, no matter what your tastes are.

Speaking of tastes, Atlanta is home to literally thousands of restaurants too, with cuisines ranging from African to Vietnamese and everything in between. If you’re eating on the run with your family, or having a romantic dinner for two, there are many options to choose from.

And when you’re not hungry, there are many other ways to occupy your time when you’re in Atlanta as well. The city supports a wide variety of sports teams, including football, baseball, ice hockey, soccer, and even a women’s roller derby team, as well as a few others. If you like to participate instead of watching, there is always the 10k Peachtree Road Race as well every July 4th.

If music is your recreation of choice there are many ways to get your fill as well. Atlanta has produced such great performers as The Black Crowes, Sevendust, Collective Soul, and the Indigo Girls.
There are a variety of music festivals every year including several jazz festivals and a large rock festival as well.

If your performing arts preferences run more to the classical style, the city also supports the Atlanta Opera company and several symphonies and choirs. We’re very lucky to have over 100 performance companies in the city, ensuring there is no lack of entertainment. These include dance and theatre companies as well as musical productions.

If you are also trying to keep the kids entertained, Atlanta has educational entertainment with them in mind as well. Come and celebrate the International Year of Astronomy at The Fernbank Science Center. It showcases a wide variety of science exhibits and a very reasonably priced planetarium show as well. The Imagine It! Atlanta’s Children’s Museum is also a fabulous destination for families with young children. The facility has a myriad of hands on exhibits to stimulate little minds. There is also the Center for Puppetry Arts and the Georgia Aquarium right in Atlanta as well!

For those that are interested in history, an afternoon spent at either the Martin Luther King Jr National Historic Site or the Civil War Museum. Both facilities offer vivid glimpses into the past that helped shaped Atlanta’s present.

The more you look into the huge selection of activities you can do in Atlanta, the more that you realise that at the very least you will need to spend a few weeks here to just scratch the surface of the city’s personality. Keep in mind that the city also boasts a wide variety of fabulous character housing solutions for just in case you fall in love with Atlanta and can’t bear to leave.

What FUN things are there to do in Atlanta?

I’m ten years old, so please come up with something fun. We are already going to the big aquarium and The Varsity (a famous hot dog stand). We are going tomorrow morning, so please answer today. (Today is March 31, 2010.) Thanks guys!
My sister is 14, so do something fun, but not too kid-ish because she will complain and make me pay back by going to areopostal or whatever.
